Cinamon newly opened up in Nishijin area of Kamigyo-ku in 2014. The place was converted from a house into a restaurant. It is perched on the corner of a block right across from our TGM Home. When the door is closed the inside image is hard to see. This is how it looks like. As you opened the door there is a counter on the right side looking like a bar counter. The kitchen area is built right next to it in the back. Usually 2 staff members ( Owner & Chef ). Even though the size of the restaurant seems small, they have unexpectedly a wide range of menu for you to choose from at very reasonable price. ( Budget for good dinner is around 2,000 yen with a glass of soft drink ). They are willing to offer a free glass of Russie ( Traditional Indian soft drink ) for a new visitor. This restaurant owner Ramesh is a very entertaining person. He offered to play a card game with us for some prizes in the form of free dishes. This friendly man from Nepal is capable of speaking in fluent Japanese as well. ( Trans-word+ : TGM...

It’s small, cute, cosy, and the owner of the place is so kind.

The food was amazing, it tasted so good, top quality and everything is home made. The prices are so low for the quantity you get, it’s insane, we only paid 1600 JPY per person for so much food. I would highly recommend this place to go and eat after doing the Zen/Gold temple. I really want to give this restaurant more credit and attract more people, it...

You can choose your level of spice, which curry you’d like, etc..

Service was quick (few people in restaurant) though we were not offered water.

Quite a large menu considering the small kitchen size.

Food was made quickly, was hot and delicious. Had butter chicken & cheese naan set with a mango...
