This is a beautiful park next to the river. It has a good amount of interesting things to see around the park such as Cherry Blossom trees in Spring, the river and nearby shrines. It's a really good place for picnics too. There's also a walking course which is about 1.6km long around the park. I recommend you visit.

We only got to see yaezakura or the multiple-petaled sakura variety. The line of somei yoshino sakura along a river mist have been a beautiful sight. We had lunch under a yaezakura tree. The park is not that big and good to just lay a picnic mat and kill time.

Beautiful place to visit during spring. There are plenty of cherry blossom trees along the river making nice scenery. Good place for small picnic. Walking path is there. Parking space available for free of charge.

川と線路と桜の見える公園 東に雲と書いて「しののめ公園」。素敵な響きの公園です。河川敷と線路が交差する河川敷に位置しているので変化に富んだ景色が味わえるでしょう。 まず、河川敷には見事な桜並木。川には歩行者専用の橋。線路の高架橋をくぐった向こうにはこれまた綺麗な芝生広場が。こちらは穴場なのでレジャーシートで食べるにはもってこいです。 ❀追記❀ 2022年4月現在、🏮夜桜のライトアップイベントを実施中! 川を挟んでみる桜が幻想的です✨ 出店はありまませんが、久方ぶりのイベントとなりました。 駐車場はやや混み合いますので夜8時以前に訪れる事をオススメします。
