This Buddhist temple museum. The main floor is the worship area and has a golden statue of a Buddha in the sanctum and uniquely amongst Buddhist temples, it also enshrines the spirits of those who died in the Boshan War and Pacific War.

Downstairs is the museum area of mainly Buddhist art. Most are statues of the Buddha, Buddhas and Bodhisattva. The one item not to be missed is the sand mandala created by monks for the visit...

日本忠霊殿/善光寺史料館 チケットが必要な建物です。中には色々なゆかりある物が展示してあります。受付の方がご丁寧でした。 仁王像（阿形）や仁王像（吽形）は圧巻の迫力でした

般若信教を書くコーナーがあり、好きな文字と叶えたい事を記入してセルフ申し込みすると、自動的に御祈禱して頂けるとの事嬉しいサービスですので是非参加してみてください

現在の日本忠霊殿は昭和45年に完成しました。戊辰戦争から太平洋戦争に至るまでに亡くなられた240万余柱の英霊をお祀りする、我が国唯一の仏式による霊廟です。
