A hidden gem of a spot which provides you a vantagepoint for the surrounding of the Peace Park. It is especially awe-inspiring at night with all the lights from the buildings in a backdrop of mountains and a sea of stars which is something you have see in person to fully appreciate the beauty! In my opinion, this is a spot that should not be missed by anyone since it is a few minutes walk behind the Peace Statue!

どうしてもその位置関係から平和記念公園のオプション的に扱われがちですが天主堂がほぼ正面で美しく見ることがでてきます。 建物としてだけでなく、正面から出てくる人もあわせて絵になるのでこれくらい離れていた方が雰囲気が感じられます。 ここはアニメ「色づく世界の明日から The World in Colors - Iroduku」の第9話で出て来る場所で私も同じ理由で来ているのですが他にもそれっぽい人が来ていました。ちなみにアニメでは天主堂はズームされており私が投稿したような景色も含めた全体では写っていません。しかし、アイスを渡すくだりでは背面の管理事務所の建物が写ってます（笑） 第9話は物語の本筋と平行して走る演出回で、長崎の名所を回って写真を撮るというベタな長崎の町並み紹介の為の話ですが、一つの大きな事件！？のある回の為なかなか感慨深いです。
