Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae

This is a stylish, newly built hotel; very centrally located. The workers were all very nice, professional, polite and helpful. It was very peaceful. The medium sized room had a fridge, TV (Japanese language), small desk & chair, a small table and chair, a kettle; tea & coffee sachets were provided in-room and also available from the reception area (self service). Bizarrely, the hotel made it clear that they take no responsibility for customers’ valuables, so there was no in-room safe or hotel safe available. Storage space was adequate. There’s an excellent clean & well maintained coin operated laundry on the 2nd floor. Washing powder is added automatically & instructions are in English. You input your own security key to keep laundry safe. There is an in- house restaurant, but no room service. The hotel and my room were very clean. Room cleaning is by request, which I much prefer as it’s less intrusive and less wasteful of water. I thought the hotel was good value for money.
