End of station in visiting tourist attractions in Nara. Walking distance to some of the tourist area. Just go straight after leaving the train and go up the stairs and walk straigth for about 10-15 minutes to Nara Park. Staff are helpful to the tourist especially what train to ride when going home if you don't know which train to board that will pass to your desired specific station.

This station seems small but is not. Is big, you can also find Gachapons here, a big selection actually. The station is very close to Nara Park and the shopping street. You just need to walk a couple of meters. I recommend walking instead of taking the Bus, that way you'll know the place and see the stores nearby.

The "better" Nara station due to its proximity to Nara Park and associated temples and shrines. Spacious and clear signs on which exit to follow for the tourist attractions. Do change money at the machine on the first floor (instead of at the basement souvenir shop) for better rates (I checked Korean won).
