Overall a great experience. Fun atmosphere (playing absolute American classics like all star), and great service. The server spoke very good English, to the point that my “これをください” would have been rendered useless. Lots of customization options. I ordered the draft beer, which was a craft ipa. It was delicious and only 780 yen, which was a couple bucks cheaper than I’ve typically paid elsewhere. I got the Sakura burger, and added a fried egg and sautéed onion, which was cooked perfectly. The French fries were great (although a small portion by American standards). The burger bun was light and toasted, and the thick cut bacon that came with it was some of the best I’ve had. A nice snappy tartar sauce pulled it all together. The ketchup was fantastic, apparently homemade, judging by other reviews. The actually burger patty though, was somewhat underwhelming. I didn’t get the larger premium Japanese patty, so maybe that option would be better. It was a thin burger that seemed unseasoned, and had a texture that made it feel like it was steamed not grilled. For the price (about 8.50 for the standard burger) it’s actually still a good deal. They’ve really mastered everything that makes a good burger, except the burger itself. I would still wholeheartedly recommend it, maybe try the fish burger?

This place has great reviews on google maps so I was pretty excited to try their sakura burger. First of all, this place is really subtle, no big signage or posters not even a burger picture. It’s a small popular place so expect to wait a little. Use the ticket machine outside to get your reservation ticket. The instructions are in Japanese only so you’ll have to deal with that. I ordered the sakura burger with sauted onion 🧅. The burger comes with 8 pieces of fries 🍟, I guess they’re made from fresh potatoes? But they’re not important, the burger is the star. The burger 🍔 is not small I’ll say it’s enough for a grown man. The homemade bacon is good, the beef and veggies seem fresh, the sauce is okay. The sauted onion doesn’t have much flavour tho, maybe cheese or mushrooms would fit better. To conclude, the burger is good, but I won’t say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. If you’re a burger lover you can have a try and see if you like it. The burger’s also a bit pricey ¥1280 without drinks, but they provide iced water.

Incredible burgers and hotdogs, all made in house, along with the buns. I couldn't believe how great the burger was, it definitely stands out from the regular burgers- the beef patty was exceptional, the in-house smoked bacon was to die for! Fantastic food, will come back to Nara just for this burger when I come to Japan again. The hotdog is nothing like I've had before, glad we tried it, this is literally the best hotdog you'll ever eat. Service was excellent, very friendly staff that spoke some English, you get free ice water right when you sit down. We were so overheated and thirsty, it was a blessing. The atmosphere was great too, very chill.

Simple joint that serves great burgers. Patty was juicy, thick, and flavourful. I went for the simplest option which was patty + bacon. You can add on cheese, avocado, etc. The relish is nice too. Their bacon isnt the crisp type - it's a little thicker and of a soft texture but it works. They toast the buns - my wife thought it was a little charred but it was ok for me. There is a long wait. We arrived at 12pm and they were already full so they took our names and told us to come back at 1pm. You can cross the street to Higashimuki Shopping street to pass the time. Burgers start at ¥1200. Top up ¥300 for a set (basically a discounted drink)

It’s a small and nice looking place, but generic. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming and the food is astonishing. My friend who works in a restaurant/bar ordered a customized Sakura Burger and claimed that it was the best burger he’d ever eaten. It’s worth mentioning that the size of all the sandwiches are quite big, you definitely don’t need two patties. I ordered the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich… and it was tasty but not outstanding. It tasted like any old sandwich I could get back in Canada, but both of our meals were cheap and came with astonishingly tasty and crispy fries and delicious homemade ketchup.

Salty, rubbery patty, huge chewy bun, terrible ketchup, excellent service.. The patty was too salty and had a rubber texture. Kind of like a sausage. That's an absolute no go for burgers in my opinion. The patty to bun ratio was not optimal. The burger on the photo had an extra patty and it was still kind of bready. The bottom bun felt heavier than both patties combined. The top of the bun was chewy. I thought after the first bite I accidentally ate some of the wrapper. (I didn't.) The homemade ketchup tasted like tomato paste with a bit of sugar. 2 stars for food presentation and fast and friendly service.
