This very large and beautiful garden is worth its entrance fee. They also sell potted plants and wisteria bonsai trees. Recommended if you’re local. I go here every year to experience the wisteria and see various local plants. It may be educational for kids to learn and remember how different vegetables and fruits grow, as usually, you have to go to the countryside or a farm to see this.

The beautiful and cute koi fish are adorable. I’d suggest they sell fish food in a gacha machine to earn some extra income and provide more fun for visitors.

If you’re really into nature, it may be a great place to visit with kids to search for frogs and lizards. However, please remember to behave appropriately since this is private property, not a playground. Please be responsible and respect the love and care for nature that this garden displays.

As a foreigner who has lived in Japan for almost a decade, I’ve seen enough inappropriate behavior from foreign tourists in Nara. Nara is like a sacred heaven for the Kansai region. Have a good time and enjoy the beauty of nature.
