Mizuya Chaya is an absolute delight, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Nestled in the beautiful city of Nara, this charming little hut offers an unforgettable dining experience that’s not to be missed.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cozy ambiance and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The decor exudes a rustic charm that perfectly complements the traditional Japanese dining experience. It’s clear that this place has a special character, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal.
Now, let’s talk about the food—specifically, the udon! The udon at Mizuya Chaya is simply superb. The noodles are perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness, and the broth is rich and flavorful, making each sip a comforting delight. It’s evident that great care goes into every dish, and the attention to detail truly shines through.
We also tried the chicken, and it was incredibly tender and juicy, complementing the udon beautifully. The combination of the two made for a satisfying meal that left us craving more.
Be prepared for this gem to get busy, especially during lunch hours, as it’s popular with both locals and visitors alike. The hustle and bustle only adds to the charm, making it a lively spot to soak in the atmosphere while enjoying your meal.
Overall, Mizuya Chaya is a must-visit if you find yourself in Nara. The combination of superb udon, tender chicken, and the cute, bustling hut creates an experience that is both memorable and delightful. We can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their...

Also, they take...
