This place had the perfect indoor activity in Osaka to learn Japanese calligraphy, participate, and actually doing a tea ceremony, all while wearing a kimono and having endless amazing photos taken. The service was amazing, with staff who are not only accommodating, patient, and friendly but also spoke great English. This was a private experience where you get to learn the art of brush strokes and pressure in calligraphy. It was a 1 to 1 lesson, and we work towards creating a personalized piece of calligraphy. Then you get to experience a tea ceremony and even get to try to do the ceremony itself as well. The decor and immersive experience during the tea ceremony was peaceful and relaxing.
Additionally, you get to choose from a beautiful selection of kimonos, and the staff will dress you up and do your hair (for women), ensuring you look and feel your best during the experience.
On top of that, they are more than happy to take many pictures and videos of you too, and help you pose for the best shots.
I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends visiting Japan. They provide a comprehensive and authentic journey that is both educational and enjoyable, setting it apart from the more tourist-centric kimono rental...

What impressed me the most was the tea ceremony experience—once the door opened, it felt like stepping into a completely different world. We first enjoyed the tea and sweets prepared by the teacher, and then learned step by step how to make tea ourselves. Although it’s located near a busy train station, this place feels like a tranquil retreat hidden within the bustling city. Last but not least, I have to say, the staff were incredibly nice and cute, which made the whole experience...

The customer service is superb, and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Plus, they can speak English, too!
What sets them apart from other shops is the total immersive experience you get from each course they offer, from learning proper brush strokes and pressure in the calligraphy class to experiencing the proper way to hold a Hishaku (tool used to scoop water) in the tea ceremony.
I've done several tea ceremony classes before, but this is the first time I've done this! I highly...
