This place seems like an unassuming and simple local ramen joint but after the first sip and chew on the noodles, the complexity explodes in your mouth. The spicy miso ramen is the second best ramen I’ve had in Japan and I’ve had my fair share of bowls. The heat of the soup with the bite of the noodles and the pork chashu, nothing like it. There are some green sprouts that add a little fresh green flavour. Get extra chashu if you can you won’t regret it. And have a beer while you’re at it to cool down your palate and refresh it. The cherry on top is the chef welcomes you with a warm smile and leaves you with a sweet farewell. What more can you ask for. The only reason this is my second favourite ramen is because I’m a big tonkotsu guy but given that, it’s still number 2 over many...

Incredible ramen in a small shop with a friendly atmosphere. We ordered the shoyu ramen (one with yuzu, one without) and tamago.

The service was prompt and the owner was very charming, helping us to read the buttons on the ticket machine. Despite our limited Japanese, the service was wonderful and enough reason to come back.

The ramen was so light and fresh, we left feeling energized. The noodles were delightfully chewy, and the char siu was so tender it melted in our mouths. Our only regret is that we won't be in Osaka long enough to keep coming!

This place will surely be on our list whenever we're in town. To the owner and staff, thank you so much for your...
