Udon Noodle UBARA — Local services in Osaka

I live near this place so I visit it for lunch from time to time. The place is really simple and there are usually lines so not a good place if you want to hang around. It's just a place for you to come, eat good food and leave. I love this place, it may be slightly more expensive than a normal udon restaurants but it's because of the high quality as this is personally one of my favorite udon in japan. They also offer upsize to big noodles serving (omori) completely free! The curry udon used soy milk base so it's unique and sweet. The bukkake udon is really good. The inari udon is refreshing. It was also got into Michelin street food list a few times so clearly I'm not the only one giving this place...

大阪市天王寺区「うどん うばら」さん

近鉄「大阪上本町」駅から東へ徒歩5分のところにある「食べログ うどん WEST 百名店 2024 選出店」と言いますか、百名店常連でもはや知らない人はいないと思われるほど有名な「うどん うばら」さん

いつも前を通ったら行列なんですけど、この日はたまたま並びがなかったので近くの駐車場に車をほり込んでダッシュ！ 即入店できるという奇跡が起こりましたｗ

非常に清潔感のある店内はカウンター6席を含めて合計15席

★「C定食 ミニ天丼」の「ぶっかけうどん（冷）」（1200円税込み）をオーダー ※ミニえび天丼+ぶっかけうどん（冷）のセット ※うどんは大盛でも価格が同じとのことですが並盛でも300㌘くらいあるので私は並でお願いしました

5分程で着うどん

・「ぶっかけうどん（冷）」 やや細めのエッジの効いたツルツルモチモチ弾力系のうどんで小麦感がすっごく感じられて美味しいです コシが「アル」とか「ナイ」とかそういうのじゃなく「うどんとして非常に完成度が高くて美味しいと思います」 なので出汁がなくても美味しくツルツル食べられちゃいます。

ぶっかけ出汁はうどんの風味を損なわない程度の醤油感で関西風のクセの少ない味わい

・「ミニ天丼」 天ぷらは「えび・かぼちゃ・茄子・海苔・獅子唐」の5種類 どれもココのお店の天ぷらは下処理がしっかりされていて、薄めの衣で素材の味を感じることのできるのが特徴で非常に丁寧に調理されているのがわかります 「やっぱり天ぷらも美味い」

お店の皆さんの対応もすごく良くて、全てに丁寧さが感じられる間違いのないお店です。 また、これからもお伺いさせていただきたいと思います。 ごちそうさまでした

I arrived at the restaurant at 11:00, wrote my name on the waiting sheet, and was able to enter about 30 minutes later. Since this was on a weekday, I recommend going early if you plan to visit during lunchtime or on a weekend.
