A large venue used for hosting large events in Osaka located past Osaka Bay next to the ocean and in an island area where a lot of container ships on the other side of the land.

It's a bit of a walk from the nearest stations but the way is straightforward enough.

I went to attend the Osaka Comicon 2023 but found the space to be somewhat overcrowded despite its size and being organized into five separate halls according to the map. There are plenty of toilets, which was nice and despite Comicon being a nerdy event that one might expect to have a lot more male attendees, there wasn't a long line to use the men's room, whereas the women's room seemed to always have lines.

I guess it also depends on the event but catering options aren't too great but the food preparers do their best to serve huge crowds. Very expansive expo area, with several good sized exhibition halls. The place looks rather dated internally now, and in serious need of a good clean. Notably, the air was incredibly dusty. While walking around through the halls I was incredibly glad that I had brought a bottle of water. It was so dusty that I was drinking water very regularly, sipping every couple of minutes. Even a couple of hours after leaving my nose and throat were still feeling strange and very ticklish. The exhibition toilets need a good cleaning and modernizing too.
