We were excited to see Basilico was offering a Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, vegetables and pumpkin pie for two days only. Probably choosing an Italian restaurant was not the wisest choice. Turkey is the centerpiece of the meal. It's important to serve it freshly made, tender, with a delicious unique flavor turkey offers. This turkey was none of those. It was supposed to be roasted but came thick slabs with grill marks. For the most part inedible; tough, overcooked, without any flavor whatsoever. To be frank, the rest of the plate tasted like it was served from yesterday. The vegetables seemed reheated and lack freshness. The bread was stale and offered with olive oil! It was embarrassing that the chef would serve such poor food to his customers. Finally, a surprise 12% service charge added to the bill. Not normal in Japan. Needless to say we won't return. A Thanksgiving meal is a joy when prepared correctly and it's simple taste was totally missing from this fiasco. If you ever go maybe stick with pizza. Absolutely anyone...

They were so nice and they even had english speakers there! I don't ask for a lot when I am out and about but these people really were so nice. The place was very clean and followed Covid protocols and even had a nice outdoor area to enjoy! Fully recommend eating here if your staying...
