I used the osaka amazing pass here with my niblings, figures why kids gotta pay here and adults not. Because this Legoland is basically for children, it will be totally weird if you went here as adults alone. The legoland here is very tiny so they called it the mini land. But it's actually very pretty and entertaining! It's Osaka in Lego at day and night!! I think it's great if adults only can also enter this area.
The ticketing policy is pretty tight and thorough, you really can't enter if you don't pass the requirements. I think it's better that this Legoland brand this place as a kids and family park. So adults won't confuse and waste their thoughts to enter this park. I saw plenty adults who still wants to try to get in.
But it's totally worth it so spare the minimum of 2 hours here with your kids, the more the better.
This legoland is basically an indoor themed park divided into several areas: 4D movie, cafe, big Jungle gym, flying scrambler ride, shooting target rollercoaster, different lego building areas (race cars, earthquake proof buildings, duplo, Stacey and so on) and at the end they give the kids ninjago stickers.
The rides are simple but not for small kids and the 4D movie was nice with no conversations so everyone can enjoy it. My niblings wanted to catch all those...
Read moreThis is a fun place for younger children. It's small, but kids have fun if they like to build things and play. You can also sign up for the Lego Master Builder Academy class where kids can learn how to build something. The class is all in Japanese, but you can follow along with the instructor and watch as he builds.
There are two rides and a show. Fortunately, we came on a light day and so there was no wait for us. The kids can also play in the 3 different playground areas and also build things like the cars for the racers build & test challenge or stack duplo in an earthquake-like setting. If kids are planning to play in the play areas, be sure to wear socks. If not, they are available for purchase.
If you have independent kids between 5 and 10, this is the perfect place to let them go and play while parents relax in the cafe eating area!
We went back on a Sunday and it was super busy! Fortunately, there's still things for children to do. If you want to play their Ninjago shooting game or the Wizard ride, the wait will be longer. They will also give passes to children who want to play in the play area. We got there when it opened at 10 and left at 4. It was super busy until 1 and by 3 it wasn't...
Read moreBad experience for the grownup, but kids (4&6) had fun. Although it closes at 7, the wouldn't let us in at 5:30 ("last admission 5pm," which is nowhere on website). Next day I tried to buy the online discount tix (for 4pm entry) day of and website just said "not available" with no explanation; when I went to desk they said they can only be bought the prior day (again, no mention on website). So we paid full price and we went in anyway: long lines for short (but fun) rides. No Master builder to be found at the MB Academy, and if you want to play in the playground you have to buy socks (which are requires that you lose your place on line and go back out into the mall to buy - they don't even sell them in the gift shop - and you then have to convince them to let you reenter, which is also not allowed!) Otherwise there are plenty of legos to play with and a short 4D movie, but that's about it. I don't think I've ever left a two star review, but this place is pretty bad value, imo. Anyway: buy 4pm tix the day before and bring socks! Unless your kid is completey lego crazy, three hours should be plenty of time and it seems like it hot less crowded after 5 anyway. Though note that they close the...
