MENU CHANGED:No more gluten free options and breakfast is not being served anymore. Initially came for both of the aforementioned but ADAPTABILITY is key in life. So we opted for the Shepherds Pie, Vegetable sandwich and a cheese pizza. Really nice portions are served and the taste of the Shepherds Pie was absolutely extraordinary. The Veggie sandwich was art. So, beautiful with an array of bright colored layers. The 'ORANGE' pumpkin 🎃 was most prominent star, as it is currently Pumpkin season. The pizza unfortunately 🍕 was not good (dry, no taste, and tasted similar to a matza cracker). The sauce and cheese though were really good but the crust tasted plain and gluten free—-but it wasnt??! (Reheated in the air fryer @home and it was really good). The mango juice and citrus tea were refreshing. The service was good. The Bears were cute. There was a que at the door, and upon entering we were advised there would be a 30min wait for food but it was much shorter. Our server spoke excellent English.

This place serves one of the best burgers in Japan - wait - one of the best burgers ANYWHERE! The bun is crispy on the top and soft in the middle. The burger is so juicy you had better use the sandwich pocket it comes with or you'll have it all over you! The toppings are fresh and compliment the burger perfectly. The fries that come with the burger are crispy and plentiful. The pizza is fantastic with a homemade crust and fresh, abundant toppings. The sauce is flavorful and house made. Even the Italian soda is better than others I've tried in Japan. If you are in the area you must try this place! Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays - open until 6-6:30 the rest of the week. Soooo worth a visit!

this gem of a cafe is just a little walk from the kaiyukan (so i highly recommending getting food here after you're done there) firstly, the decor- is ADORABLE, there are bears everywhere (lives up to its name of kuma). the kuma burger was DIVINE, literally one of the best if not the best burger i've had in my life and i'm not even a burger person oh my god. also got a SMALL pizza (we got the pepperoni but they offer half and half if you can't decide between toppings) to share and it was HUGE, the portions are crazy generous and you can take it to-go if you can't finish. the staff were so amenable and sweet the entire time, highly highly recommend.

Cozy and quiet cafe with great food! We came here once and liked it so much we made sure we came back again on our last day in Osaka. The portion sizes are big so come hungry! The food is freshly made so you may have to wait a little bit it is well worth it - everything we had was delicious (especially the pizza!). There are English speaking staff who are incredibly welcoming and friendly. A really nice quiet spot to eat when you’re getting a bit overwhelmed by the busy city or just want a great meal and great customer service! The bears are also very cute! Will be back next time we’re in Osaka.

Very tasty food and nice customer service with English and Japanese speaking staff.. Gluten free menu available. Special mention to the huge and delicious chocolate pancake, by far the biggest pancake I've ever eaten (not only in Japan, but anywhere in the world). The place has a lot of bears of all sizes, and several international elements in the decorations. As it's a very popular restaurant in front of the aquarium and meals require quite a bit of time, it is recommended to book a table in advance and go with plenty of time to spare to be able enjoy the experience to the fullest.

始めにですが、最近のgoogle mapは投稿を公開しない事が有ります。 （ただログイン状態なら自分の投稿は確認は出来ます。） 事実でもネガティブな事を具体的に書くほどその傾向が強いです。 （この投稿は現在公開されていません。） google mapに各グルメサイトがリンクされるように成ってから特にです。 （なので最近は某グルメサイトと信頼性は特に変わらないかも？） 初めてコテージパイを食べたのは東南アジアですが、癖に成ったので大阪市でも食べられる店をネットで探していました。 少しですが有る事は有りますが食事がメインでは無く、ブリティッシュパブ、スポーツバーと飲酒がメインで軽食として有る店が殆どです。 そう言った中、大阪市でも果ての方ですがここが有ったのと、コロナウイルスのせいで気軽に海外旅行が出来なく成ったので何時か食べに行こうと思っていました。 ランチのピークが終わった頃に行きましたが、日本人客だけでそこそこ先客が居ました。 ネットのレビューではオージーがオーナーと言う事でしたが、メニューを見る限り一部オージーらしいメニューも有りますが、特に特化してると言うイメージは無かったです。 早速シェパーズパイと一緒に来た人はチョコレートのパンケーキ、そして飲み物はウーロン茶を注文しました。 その時にアレルギーが有るかを聞かれたのと、こちらからシェパーズパイは何の肉を使っているか聞いたところ牛肉と言われました。 （因みに明確な定義は無いですが言葉の意味から牛肉だとコテージパイ、羊肉だとシェパーズパイと認識されている事が多いです。そして昔は羊肉は中華料理店でジンギスカンとして安いお肉と言うイメージが有ったのですが、最近は同じ部位のUSビーフよりも若干高価です。なので店の歴史が古いなら以前は羊肉だったのかも知れません。） まずシェパーズパイですが見た目はトータルだとボリュームが有ります。 肝心のパイですが海外だとマッシュポテトに少しチーズを乗せて軽く焼いていますが、ここはそのままです。 中はマッシュポテトの方が多くミートもトマトソースでは無くグレービーソースで、ミートよりもソースの方が多いです。 （私が食べた限りではイギリス人経営の店ほどマッシュポテトとミートの量が同じぐらいで、少しグレービーソース使っている事が多かったです。ぶっちゃけ焦げ目の無いハンバーグを食べてるみたいな。） 見た目と味はオージータイプで普通に美味しかったです。 パンケーキは他のレビューの有ったように確かにかなり大きく二人分位有ります。 （価格もそれなりに高価ですが。） 味の方は私は少し食べただけで特に感想は無いのですが、一緒に来た人は可愛いし美味しいSNS映えすると喜んでいました。 思ったのは何も言わずに二人分の取り皿を用意してくれたので、量が多いのから普段からそう言ったリクエストが多いんだと思いました。 それと私はレビューを見て知っていたので先に言いましたが、食べ残しを快く包装してくれて以前の日本と言うか今の海外の飲食店の様です。（今でも高級中華だとしてくれます。） そしてその包装が非常に丁寧で、下手なテイクアウト専門店よりもしっかりしています。 ここは夕方６時閉店のたまに早く閉店する事が有るようで、どちらかと言うと価格も含めて近くに有る施設目当ての観光客目当ての店の様な気がします。 （日本でチップボックスを見たのは初めてかも？） 実際、某ホテル予約のメタサーチのレビューでも外国人客の間で非常に評価が高いです。 コスパですが私は他の方と違って量が多くても高価なので妥当とまでは思いませんが、テイクアウトの包装を見てこれなら妥当かなと思いました。 取り合えず久しぶりにまともなマッシュポテトを使ったパイが食べれたのと、出来れば市内にもっと気軽に食べられる店が増えれば良いと思いますが、日本でのイギリス料理の評判が評判なので今後も増えそうにないと思います。 （実際いくつかのミートパイの店が出来ても直ぐに閉店していますし。味うんうんではなく日本人相手だとコスパが関係していたと思います。）
