So there I was. Smack dab in the middle of Japan. After weeks of eating sushi, shabu-shabu and the likes, I was craving a burger. A REAL burger. Sadly, all the places that served burgers in Japan failed to get the formula right.
After stumbling out of Osaka Aquarium my senses started to light up. There was hope. I looked on Yelp and to my surprise there happened to be "the" burger place of Japan less than a kilometer in front of my feet.
I walked in with my friend and we were kindly greeted by an Australian man by the name of Paul. I now know him as "The Burger God".
Back in the states, you would rarely ever see my order a burger unless I know it will be top notch. This was one of those times. The only difference being this burger annihilated every burger I have ever laid my tongue upon. This changed everything. America would be proud.
The burger was served to us piping hot. The most tender, delicious, and juicy patty I have ever eaten. The toasted bun paired with it made for an even more mind melting experience. And the cheese, the cheese had a perfect marriage with the patty.
The burger was massive. My small stomach only managed to eat 95% percent of it. A small tear was shed down my eye knowing I had to let that sliver go to waste.
Luckily, my chubby friend scoffed it down for me.
I will be returning next time with a completely empty stomach so I can honorable finish the entire thing.
Here's to the chef. Absolutely magnificent dining experience. The price of the burger was extremely reasonable. I would pay triple the price if I had too.
This is one reason I will be...
Read moreWe (party of 5) went here after the Aquarium with great anticipation. I had this on my itinerary from America due to their good, positive ratings. They have two tables and one countertop eating area. Two tables were already filled. So we asked to sit at the countertop. She said there were no room for our two strollers. We told her we would keep our strollers outside. She said she didn't recommend it because someone could take it. (There was already another strollers parked outside and this is JAPAN, one of the most safest countries in the world). We said we would take the risk, then she said food could take over 30 mins. We never said we were in a hurry. In other words, this "family" restaurant used every excuse she could come up with to not have us eat there. I don't know if they were being racist (Asian American, non Japanese), ageist (toddler, baby, and senior was in the party), or what, but they obviously didn't want our business and I never felt so offended and upset in Japan. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone who isn't Japanese. (We were there at Nov...

So we opted for the Shepherds Pie, Vegetable sandwich and a cheese pizza. Really nice portions are served and the taste of the Shepherds Pie was absolutely extraordinary.
The Veggie sandwich was art. So, beautiful with an array of bright colored layers. The 'ORANGE' pumpkin đ was most prominent star, as it is currently Pumpkin season.
The pizza unfortunately đ was not good (dry, no taste, and tasted similar to a matza cracker). The sauce and cheese though were really good but the crust tasted plain and gluten freeâ-but it wasnt??! (Reheated in the air fryer @home and it was really good).
The mango juice and citrus tea were refreshing.
The service was good. The Bears were cute. There was a que at the door, and upon entering we were advised there would be a 30min wait for food but it was much shorter. Our server spoke...
