Really close to my office so I often come to worship… but today i asked for their goshuin… happy… This shrine is branch of Hokkaido jingu at maruyama. Tongu was builded on 11th of meiji era… back then the main shrine was far and hard to visit due the snowfall in the winter… so they build small one in central sapporo city… People believe, Tongu become a place where God take a rest after observing the area, before they back to the main Shrine… ☺️お疲れ様です。 Omamori, they sell matchmaking and couple omamori. The Ema is designed with komainu on it so cute… Ooo.. they have 子投安産・家内安全の狛犬, komainu with her baby statue…

It is a pleasure to visit the shrine whixh is near the Nijo market. I admire the creativity of the shrine's caretakers, who sweep the fallen sakura into a heart shape. Within the shrine building, there is a restroom and a shop selling lucky charms.

serene shrine located near nijo fish market. quite empty when we visited and bought a couple amulets as well. i prefer visiting here than hokkaido jingu as it’s less crowded. can see that it’s well maintained by the people working here
