Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo is arguably the best hotel I stayed at in Japan between Osaka, Tokyo and Sapporo. When you arrive, check in is on the first floor immediately as you enter. Someone at the front desk acknowledged and greeted me every time. Staff was incredibly friendly. Check in was a breeze. There were multiple front desk staff members who helped me translate or call restaurants to see if they would take my reservation on short notice. I appreciated them so much! The room felt sparkling clean and the amenities were awesome. Everything worked in the room. Thank you, housekeeping and engineering teams! This was by far my hotel breakfast at any of the holes we stayed at and I basically ate here every morning. There was plenty of variety for us to choose from and the food was soooo tasty from Japanese to western-inspired dishes with specialty dishes from ingredients grown in Hokkaido! The utensils, plates, bowls and cups were clean. They had fresh, hot award winning raclette cheese you could ask for to be poured over potatoes and veggies to order. The Hokkaido corn soup was so magical and made in a Dutch oven pot. I absolutely loved the housemade tofu that used Hokkaido soy beans, and the butter rice made with Hokkaido corn! Oh!! And the Hokkaido custard with bittersweet caramel was *to die for*. They also had this stunning honeycomb display sourced from multiple counties that dropped honey into a trough and was absolutely delicious. This was the only hotel in Japan we stayed at that offered such a variety of specialty dishes, so it was extremely special to me. All the restaurant staff and servers were extremely nice and extremely attentive with clearing our tables. Thank you so much to the back of house chefs/stewards and front of house restaurant staff! You guys seriously rock!! I want to call the quality of the staff, room and restaurant out because you will be surprised the lack care you may encounter in a big city like Tokyo… it was a polarizing experience for me. I am so grateful to have one of the best hotel experiences ever at Keio in Sapporo. The location is also excellent and fairly close to Daimaru and the Sapporo Station, about 2 blocks away. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan this trip, this place was a top favorite. I would 100000% come back here when visiting Sapporo / Hokkaido again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Keio Prelia Hotel in Sapporo and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent location; it is right next to exit 12 of the Sapporo station. Situated in close proximity to Hokkaido University, the King room I stayed in offered breathtaking views of the campus, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the surroundings. Not only was the view impressive, but the staff at Keio Prelia Hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcomed and ensured that all of my needs were met. Their warm and attentive service truly added to the overall positive experience. The room itself was a haven of cleanliness and organization. It was evident that great care had been taken to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The well-appointed amenities and thoughtful touches provided a sense of luxury and relaxation. However, there are too many cups in the room and it takes up the already tight space for countertops. They should consider getting rid of one of the tea sets so guests have room for their own things. All in all, my stay at Keio Prelia Hotel was simply fantastic. The combination of its prime location, friendly staff, and immaculate rooms made it a top choice for anyone visiting Sapporo. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Hokkaido or if you are visiting a family member or friend that goes to the uni.

Great hotel with a modern approach to cost Performance. The breakfast buffet has enough quality & variety for a full week without getting boring. For breakfast lovers it's well worth booking in advance for a reduced price. You have from 6 to 11 AM to start a day in great shape and satisfy your needs. :-0 Other highlights: * 3 minutes walk from central JR Sapporo station * Welcome drink * Compact sized rooms with lots of functionality. * Water fill facility on each floor * Spa, Fitness etc. * General information via the TV set. * Breakfast congestion forecast. * Live Status information of laundry facility. * Healing / relaxing music menu. * Partner restaurant information. * Meeting room facilities for business (pay extra) * Rental car office at B1

The room is spacious and the facilities are brand new. However the food and beverages have room for improvement, especially the breakfast. We have a hard time in queuing for the hotel carpark. If you have a rental car please consider other carparks nearby, it took us at least 30 mins for us to wait for the carpark operator to retrieve the vehicle from the elevator. There are tons of guests waiting for their cars in the parking lot and there is only one machine. Definitely a big drawback considered the parking rate they are charging us....2000 yen per day.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay in this Hotel. The location is great; Sapporo JR & subway only 5 minutes walk. You can also take a 30-minute stroll to reach Susukino area, passing by Odori. The rooms are relatively big for Japan's standard. Best part of the room would be it's huge TV. Definitely one of the biggest among the hotels within Hokkaido though the available channels are quite disappointing. Overall a wonderful stay. Parking available @ Y1600/night for hotel guests. It's definitely not cheap, but cheaper than public parking rates within Sapporo.

Nice place to stay in Sapporo, near Sapporo station, but quite a distance from Tanukikoji shopping street and Susukino area. If you wanna be at the heart of the action, then this place isn’t for you. Rooms are ok spacious. Able to open 2 large luggages and maneuver around well. Hot water supply ok too. There’s a laundry room with washing machines and dryer (2 in 1) at level 2. Also, a medium sized Onsen available in hotel, free for guest use. The fireplace feature at lobby was favorite amongst my young kids.
