I had a great stay at the Comfort Suites Higashi Kanda. The staff was very helpful. I've never seen so many employees at the breakfast at any hotel of similar size. They were constantly making sure the food and beverages were refilled. The rooms are small by American standards, but what you would expect from a hotel in Tokyo. I never felt cramped. The room had everything I needed. The bathroom is good size with instant hot water. A humidifier/air purifier is also supplied. The hotel staff was always very welcoming and ready to assist without hesitation. They were fantastic in getting my luggage transferred to another hotel in Osaka for the next part of my journey. The hotel is a great 3 star hotel that had everything I needed and wonderful staff. The location is great as well. It is in a quiet area that has many convenience stores and restaurants within a few blocks. I highly recommend this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel very much. It is close to many metro stations. And it is just two stops away from Tokyo Station. They offer a transparent umbrella for free if it is raining. Just make sure to not misplace it. The rooms seems small at first but it was just to sleep in so it was perfect and for 3 people each person had there own bed. Dont forget to leave your shoes at the entrance of the room and use slippers. There is laundry on the second floor. There is a paper with translation on how to use the machine. Breakfast was included and it was a culture shook but it had many options to choose from still. The front desk staff are very friendly and know English as well. If you plan to be in town on Sunday just know many restaurants are closed. So you may need to walk to convenient store for food or near a jr station. There is many food options available there.

I booked a single person stay with this comfort hotel. My friends booked a different hotel close to mine. When my friends come to my hotel room to grab a drink and have a conversation with me. The staff stop my friends come to my room. And I have told the staff my friends won't stay overnight. They still asked for money to allow my friend to come to my room. They said the hotel need to register every guest to visit the hotel. But the truth was they just took the 2000 yen for each visitor, but never actually register the visitors' information. What a BS from the staff! I still remeber the name of the staff is Tanka. I believe that these issues are a reflection of poor management and training of staff. As a paying guest, I expect to receive good value for my money and a pleasant stay. However, my experience at your hotel has left me disappointed and frustrated.

Rooms were okay i mean you get what you paid for. The complementary breakfast however was…. Something. Foods were so repetitive and tasted unseasoned. I had scrambled eggs waffles and sausages for 4 days in a row. The nearest 7-eleven was 140m up north, which i went to daily for snacks and guess what i found! The same waffle and sausages sold in 7-eleven!!! The breakfast sausage and waffles even tasted THE SAME as 7-eleven’s!! So yeah i basically had 7-eleven food in disguise also please note i do understand that this is a 3 star hotel but ive tried other 3 star hotels throughout japan and they offered better variations for breakfast (i dont have a pic of the sausages but theyre obv in 7-eleven)

Quiet and comfortable rooms. I chose this hotel for its competitive price. It's about a 30-minute walk from Tokyo Station. Breakfast was grab-and-go due to maintenance works, with the restaurant set to reopen in February 2025. I loved the complimentary coffee available from 3 PM to 12 AM; however, the lack of coffee in the morning was a miss for me!
