Food was great but to be honest the whole experience was less than desirable.

1. Unlike other establishments in Japan, the queueing system doesn’t seem to be the most organized. At some point when we finally were the first in line, a lot of people already got out and it took a while for us to be seated. Even if food won’t be served immediately, I think letting the patrons seat and wait for the food (like in other establishments) would be best, so that we can rest while waiting. Especially considering the long wait.

2. 2 people from the front group was actually queueing for like 10 people. Definitely a large group that will occupy an entire restaurant in Japan that tend to be really small. Since we only saw 2 people, we got tricked into thinking that queue was shorter than what it was. Something like this shouldn’t be allowed I think. Even if it is, you should be able to let smaller groups go first if there are some seats that are free, to just make things more smooth, if the group doesn’t want to be separated.

3. This is not on the restaurant itself but on the patrons (I’m writing this for a note so people can consider this point). People were taking their time and eating slowly. Of course you don’t have to rush your meal but please be aware that people are queueing outside. Don’t take 1.5 hours to eat a simple bowl of roast beef.

With a more efficient system from the restaurant and a more comfortable wait, I would have said that the food was worth the wait, but, in my experience, it really was not.
