Long story short I was looking for a place that was low key and had some sort of spa. Do C had it. The sauna is 24 hours so you can drop by whenever you're able to. The added bonus is that this capsule hotel has well... Capsules! I liked my stay here, but a few things could be improved. Chief of which are the capsules themselves. It looks like this used to be an old school capsule hotel and the pods are right out of the 1980's. That being said I did have a comfortable sleep and while I'm six foot five inches tall (196cm est.) I did fit inside. I you're also my height of recommend sleeping diagonally which works pretty good too. Speaking of sleep, bring your own ear plugs as you may hear your neighbor(s). The sauna and the hotel itself has a unique look, all decked out in plywood and concrete. You really fell secluded when you stay here and it's nearly isolated completely from the outside world. The hotel is clean and the minimalist design really enhances that as well. The staff is friendly, but getting answers quickly online doesn't seem to be a thing. Not a big deal, but the website should have some of those basic questions so that one doesn't need to scan through reviews. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for in my stay and I'm glad I picked Do C for my last night in Tokyo. After a long trip it was nice to fully unwind and relax.

Cheap, cheerful, great location for trains/subways, really close. People have complained about cleanliness. I saw no problem with showers or toilets. Clean towels provided. Shower soap, shampoo and conditioner, plenty and nice products provided. Ok a bit of a pain you can't eat or drink, mainly have drink at least, but this is the case with most capsual hostels. Capsule may be a bit dated, but, does the job, when you want somewhere to store main luggage, wash and sleep. I understand staff need to clean/change bed as short stays are probably a quick turnaround. I stayed 2 nights. I was allowed to leave my backpack in locker, but absolutely no-one can stay after 10am, and no returns between 2pm. Not even to get luggage. 2nd night was to be near transport for my flight 11pm, not being allowed to stop like many allow a little longer was a pain. Staff very busy, on desk or cleaning and taking care. Good job, thank you!!

This was my first trip to Japan and I stayed at multiple hotels and Caples and this one was definitely the worst I stayed at. The people were nice and the front desk was open 24/7 but it was not good. You can't eat or bring food to your bed or floor. You have to eat in the lounge area but it's always full of people. There are only 3 showers between two floors so about 50. When you have luggage you have two walk up stairs just to get to the lobby. When you're in your capsule you can't talk or make a sound but you always hear people bagging all their things around, talking loudly, phones going off with the person not there. You always hear bagging. I would definitely not come here again. Only up side is the SkyTrain is so close by, like 5 mins away. One out of five. Save your money.

Pros: -Great Location -Great Price -Clean Facilities -Friendly staff Cons: - It feels like you're living in a weird mix of a spaceship and a jail. They give matching gray uniforms to wear. Every morning at 10:00am the intercom turns on with "Bing bong Biiing - Everybody Please Leave. Bing Bong Biiiing" and people line up in their gray uniforms and walk half asleep to brush their teeth and check out. You can't return until 1pm, so if you're a tourist and out partying until 6am, it's going to be a rough time. That being said, being forced to see the daylight is maybe a good thing?
