EFE KEBAB 阿佐谷南店 — Attraction in Tokyo

I can't comment on the service or interior since I ordered through Uber Eats. But when I saw they had a kebab with avocado and cheese, I rushed to try it.

To my great disappointment, as delicious as it sounded, it turned out to be super greasy and relatively tasteless. They definitely need to use firmer avocado instead of overripe ones because it turns into a mushy mess with no texture. The cheese they use just adds more grease without contributing much flavor. As for the meat, I’m not sure if it’s related, but every time I order kebabs for delivery from different places, the meat tends to be fatty scraps. In contrast, when you buy it in person, it feels like they put more effort into cutting better pieces. This might be a location issue because kebabs in Yokohama are definitely of better quality than in Tokyo.

In conclusion, the kebab isn’t bad, but it’s terribly greasy and almost flavorless. You’ll need to add a strong sauce to make it better. As for the kebab sandwich, it had sauce, but everything else was at the same...

Have had this a few times now and must say that it is VERY good. Large portions and not that expensive.

My favorite so far is the cheese chicken kebab, but going to try Lahmacun next time as well as the Pide. Many, many really good looking choices!

The best, this is my guilty pleasure every week. Jalapeno kebabs (any of them, I usually get chicken but recently I feel like beef is the best), efe special kebab (in my opinion the best, but takes some time to prepare), classic kebab (lots of meat and the bread goes nicely together)
