hotel MONday Premium TOYOSU — Attraction in Tokyo

Room was not very clean. Stains on walls, shower door was foggy with soap scum. Showerhead in both our rooms sprayed in crazy directions and only about half the water came out because the nozzles are clogged from not being cleaned well. Elevators always smelled of smoke. There's no room phones, which is inexcusable for a hotel claiming to be premium. Also the rudest guests I've ever encountered that the front desk did nothing about. Every night (even as late as 11pm), the lobby was so packed that you could barely walk through it, and the crowd sometimes spilled over outside. The first night, two Chinese women who looked 40 in the face but acted like they were 4 were running like children around the packed lobby and ran into me, and when i told them off for running away and giggling instead of apologizing, their boyfriend tried to follow me into the elevator to fight me (but chickened out and just stood there glowering lol). The second night, a Chinese couple rudely cut off my disabled friend on the way to the elevator, then stood in front of the buttons and pettily refused to press our floor button and made us reach awkwardly around them. The third night, a huge group from Qatar had completely taken over the lobby and front desk outside, and some young men who were fist-fighting started harassing and calling after the woman in our group, and we had to walk awkwardly a long way around them to avoid confrontation. The hotel can't control the guests, but they absolutely can keep the lobby from becoming so packed and rowdy, especially late at night. The front desk should stop behavior like adults running around their lobby like children and fighting outside the door and striking or harassing other guests. We gave them a prefilled Yamato slip to send luggage at checkout and got an email from them a few hours later asking again where the bags were supposed to be sent. Why didn't they make sure they understood that before they left? Now i have to worry that my bags won't get to the right...

The hotel was convenient for commute through bus (Bus with #s 10 and 16 stop right outside the hotel) and then train - this we later on learned after a number of trial and error. We initially did train only and walked more going to the stations. It’s also across a mall (they have good food also) which is already mentioned a couple of times (connected through a walkway) and beside it is a good size 711. The only thing is the room that we had was on the small side. We couldn’t fully open our luggages because we will literally walked on them. For the duration of our stay, we had breakfast there. It was the same everyday which we didn’t mind because the selection was good and everything was yummy. The pillows are too thin for my liking but negligible for me. Best hotel so far with reasonable price, family and kid friendly hotel, very clean, (i like their toiletries), room size was spacious than previous hotels we stayed in tokyo and the staffs were nice and helpful 😊. Thank you to their Indonesian english speaking and hospitable front desk officer, Stefano, who was very helpful to answer all my tourist queries on day 1. He was able to guide me the fastest way to reach Shibuya, bus schedules, bus terminal, free hotel services like the handy- free wifi, free bus shuttle to Disneyland, free shuttle to Toyosu station and many more.😊 You deserve this 👏👏👏. Hotel was across AEON mall, beside 7 eleven, few walks to Lawson and kesei bus terminal. Don't leave the hotel without trying their indoor bath/onsen.
