Wished I purchased my first go around.
My initial interaction with the staff was a professional and comfortable experience. They served tea, complimented me on my watch, and answered my questions to their best knowledge on the ones I was interested in. I had made a reservation for a watch here then walked around to check out what else is in the mall.
I come back and it was dead. Absolutely no other customers. So I walk up to the middle aged employee, spiked up hair with glasses and tell him I had reserved a watch. I also tell him I wanted to look at other watches. He pulls up my reservation then I point to the two watches I wanted to look at in front of him. We literally discuss the pricing on the two said watches and I say “ok I’ll try those on.” He then throws his hands up, does the human balance scale thing like “which one are you talking about out of the twenty watches in front of us” and acts as if I never told him which ones.
I shop A LOT of watches. I’ve been to basically every watch brand store you can think of. Not once had I experienced something as unprofessional as this guy displayed. You could have just said “Sorry which ones?” if you lack the ability to pay attention.
If I just picked my initial watch, bought it, and left then my experience would have been vastly different. I plan on coming back here on my next trip but I will remember this guy and avoid him. Every other employee was professional and great...
Read moreI strongly advise travelers to avoid entering Jackroad, as the excessive wait times can significantly disrupt your itinerary and waste valuable travel time. It's best to skip this store to keep your plans on track.
Jackroad block my post in Facebook. I need to let everyone know about that I’ve never encountered such poor customer service before. Despite understanding that the store may be busy, the staff’s attitude was dismissive and lacked basic courtesy. I felt unwelcome and ignored, which is unacceptable for a store that sells high-end watches. Based on this experience, I do not recommend shopping here.
I went straight to Jackroad in April after seeing all the recommendations. But when I got there, the staff were downright rude. If you want to buy something, you have to line up and wait patiently. If you’re not buying, they make it clear there are plenty of other people waiting—basically treating you like a nuisance.
Seriously? Travelers can go to Bic Camera and buy a brand-new watch for nearly 30% off after tax refunds, with friendly and respectful service. Why would anyone put up with Jackroad’s arrogant attitude? No matter how famous the store is, with service like that, it’s just...
Read moreThis was my second time visiting the store on a different visit to Japan. They have a wide variety that provides quite a range for all different types of customers. My first visit at this store was quite overwhelming especially with the crowds during the weekends. I came here specifically to check out the German-made watches and came across one of the models I was looking for. As you get more involved in time pieces it’s really more than just the Rolex, AP, and the Omega’s of the world. That’s why I love coming to Nakano Broadway because you mind find your diamond in the ruff.
My time piece is brand new October 2024 with box and paper. I would not hesitate buying pre-owned here, lots of great vintage time pieces. My sales associate was limited on English but it was good enough for us to get by. Would definitely return and bust on a grail watch.
Also you can’t go wrong with some of the other stores here. My wife bought vintage at a different store and to this day it works...
