🇯🇵 Yoyogi | 🌸 Girly Pink Cafe: Make Mount Fuji Yours 💓

Though we made a reservation it seems that on a Monday we really didn’t need one. The cafe was smaller than expected and didn’t look much like the videos on Youtube etc. The biggest disappointment was that the mountain they supposedly cut the chocolate pieces from and the robot waiter are nowhere to be seen. This chocolate is also not on the menu. We ordered the “kingyo yaki”, set of 5 mountain chocolates, and matcha milk. Somehow despite being served in a teacup my hot matcha was served stone cold - how did the waitress not even notice? The kingyo-yaki and chocolates were okay. The chocolates are to be eaten with a knife and fork but they’d just been taken out of the fridge so they were really hard and difficult to cut. The red mountain was pretty gross I didn’t finish it. We were also given some extra chocolates and a box as a gift (which kind of justified the price of the egregiously expensive “meal”). The merchandise they sell is VERY VERY expensive. Tote bags are 5,000 and the keychains are 7,000. The location is also a bit in the middle of nowhere so i can only really recommend coming out here if you need the photos for your social media.

Whenever I find aesthetically divine eateries on Instagram, I generally expect style over substance, but this salon genuinely delivers BOTH great flavors and atmosphere. I felt like I was in a dream world! We got the Mt. Fuji spring and early autumn desserts, and each one really captures the flavors of those seasons. There are many elements in each dessert, but they blend together beautifully. They were also quite generous portions. One can be satisfyingly shared between two people, but we decided to have dessert for dinner! There are only 4 small tables, so make a reservation in advance. Their souvenirs and gift items are also stunning. You’ll want to buy everything.

❌❌Be aware! Don't be brainwashed by SNS❌❌😰 ❌❌Shame on you for making money in the name of Mount Fuji.❌❌ ❌❌注意! SNSに洗脳されるな❌❌😰 ❌❌富士山の名の下に金儲けをして恥を知れ.❌❌ I swear this is one of the most AWFUL desserts I ever had in my life - Mount Fuji in 小楽園 TEA SALON&BOUTIQUE. Terrible and expensive. What is this made of? The outer layer is unbelievably hard! The inner layers are strange and confusing but they fall apart when cut, and the taste is completely incongruous. The point is that I tasted salty! Salty! Very scary! I knew it would be unpalatable, but I didn't expect it to be VERY VERY unpalatable.

The price is also very aggressive, it’s almost 5000YEN for a dessert! It’s unbelievable! You still need to order drinks! Basically, you can go to a high-end hotel to eat!

The service is also unpleasant. There is an hour for dining in, the staff will remind you 15 minutes before the end. 15 minutes later must be reminded again, I feel irritated. The point is that no one is queuing and waiting outside and there are empty tables. They just want to you leave early.

What is the significance of SNS? Is it enough to take good-looking photos? Then let’s go to the photo studio to take pictures with props, why really make an edible pastry? TERRIBLE dessert.
