Toony combines such original ingredients, brings exactly the recommendations and flavours we craved and knows how to pair it with a good sake or highball cocktail. Absolutely do not miss the seaweed with guts and cream cheese, i am so happy we braved the description and tried it. Thank you Toony 🙏🏻

We moved to Nishiazabu three months ago (from the US) and we stumbled across Toonys' bar our first week here. One of the first things i noticed inside was a Tribe Called Quest record sleeve on the wall so I knew it was going to be a cool place.

Well since then we've become regulars and we always feel welcome there, both by Toony-san and by the guests.

I usually go with my wife (originally from Japan) but my Japanese is very basic and even when I go by myself I always feel very welcome and have a great time!

It's a small bar with great food and drinks, great owner and staff, great customers and a cool vibe, what more can...

I really like the vibe of the place! Working as an interior designer in Japan. I could really appreciate the overall design, mixing Japanese DIY and Japanese (designers mansion) style. But more than that you can really feel the love that went into this place and the owners hospitality. Lots of different things on the menu. I like the fact that if you can find the place it’s very homie and quiet. Being able to enjoy drinks away from all the Tokyo hustle and bustle is another bonus point for this place...
