I noticed most reviews are repetitive about dining and shopping, so I am dropping this tidbit for those seeking where to purchase Disneyland tickets or most importantly, annual passports at Ikspiari. The Ikspiari ticket office location is close to the monorail station side of the mall. The parking lot we had to park our car was at the "Ikspiari" lot that was located on the opposite side of the monorail station due to the other closer lots being full. It was a bit of a walk on a rainy day, but we could get out of the rain cutting through the majority of the mall. Additionally, the ticket office is on the first floor pretty much directly across from Krispy Kreme ;). Ikspiari's website says proof of identity accepted to purchase a passport is a government issued passport or Japanese student ID. We didn't have either of those, but fortunately they accepted military dependant ID cards for both minor children without having to explain much. I did have my Japanese spouse with us, and I did present my Japanese drivers license that showed our Japan home address so that may have helped in the proof of residency regard where others might not be as successful if you don't have the same situation as I do. The best recommendation would be to make sure you bring your government issued passport. Back to business... The person who will be receiving the Disneyland annual passport must be present to get the card made and to receive it. After you receive your receipt of payment, you will be escorted to the back to complete the application. Once you complete the application, proceed to an available booth and present the application to the receptionist. They will confirm the prospective passport holder's information, take their photo, and give them their card. It moved pretty quickly for us. Lastly, not trying to be negative, but it would be nice to purchase annual passports at locations not actually right at the park. For instance, maybe at H.I.S. Travel or similar booking agencies in Yokohama or Kawasaki to name a few large neighboring cities. You can book all kinds of travel arrangements with those agencies for trips to India or Bali, but to not be able to purchase and have an ID card made through those types of agencies for an amusement park that is about 30 miles away is perplexing. Maybe Disney and Ikspiari have some sort of agreement to draw business to their mall (no compete clause). Or other agencies don't find any financial reward in offering this service. Still, I found it mildly frustrating that there aren't more places to acquire a passport without actually having to go all of the way to the park. Luckily, the diversity of the shops and eateries were nice and watching my ladies get a bit of their shopping habit fix were enough to distract me from that...

With whimsical architecture, social media-friendly photo spots, and the Bon Voyage Disney gift shop nearby, it’s a great place for both casual visitors and Disney fans. Full Review: Ikspiari Mall is a hidden gem within Tokyo Disney Resort, seamlessly blending shopping, dining, and entertainment into a well-curated experience. While it doesn’t compete with Tokyo’s larger shopping complexes in sheer size, what it lacks in scale, it makes up for in charm, atmosphere, and convenience.
One of Ikspiari’s greatest strengths is its architecture and layout, which feel whimsical yet practical. The design complements the Disney ambiance without feeling like a theme park extension, making it a pleasant place to explore whether you’re a Disney fan or just a casual shopper. The international brands and clothing stores provide a good selection, though it’s more of a leisurely shopping experience rather than a full-fledged retail destination.
Dining options are solid, with familiar names like Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s, as well as a variety of Japanese and international restaurants. While it doesn’t have the same overwhelming selection as a larger mall, there’s enough variety to satisfy most cravings.
One major highlight is the Bon Voyage gift shop, an official Disney store just outside the mall. For those who want to grab exclusive Disney merchandise without venturing back into the parks, this is an excellent stop. The Ikspiari cinema is another nice addition, offering a way to unwind after a day at the parks or shopping.
As expected in Japan, the customer service is world-class—staff members are attentive, polite, and efficient, making for an effortless and pleasant experience. The mall’s proximity to Disney hotels makes it a natural stop for those staying in the area, offering both convenience and a much-needed break from the theme park crowds.
While Ikspiari isn’t a must-visit mall for hardcore shoppers, it excels as a relaxing, well-designed, and functional addition to the Tokyo Disney Resort experience. With beautiful photo spots, solid retail and dining options, and an enjoyable ambiance, it’s well worth a visit if you’re...
