Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center — Local services in Urayasu

Wish I could've skipped to go straight to hotel. Nice service, but tedious step in the process:

Took a shuttle bus to Disneyland (no car parking near welcome center) and had a 20 minute walk to get there... not a great start, but a pretty walk at least.

Then stood in the line and a man was asking for resort guests (which we were) - he passed over us because he assumed we didn't speak Japanese. I had to wave his attention and explain we were hotel guests to get past the line. If I didn't pay attention/know some Japanese, we would've had to wait a longer time...

Once inside, they were very nice and spoke some English for us. All they do is take your luggage though... you still have to get on the monorail to the hotel to get your vacation package items. I didn't like that because the website said we would get the vacation package items at the welcome center (especially the tickets) and I had planned to go straight to the park. Despite the nice service, I was annoyed to have to go to the hotel to finish vacation package check in. (and on top of that, the actual room check in was hours after the vacation package check in).

◾︎前提 公式ホームページを補足することを目的に荷物の預け入れの流れをクチコミとして記載します。（訪問日2022年11月）

◾︎利用したホテル ディズニーリゾートの提携ホテルであるシェラトン・グランデ・トーキョーベイを利用しました。 なお、入口から近い2階にあるのがオフィシャルホテル（ミラコスタ等）で、1階にあるのが提携ホテル（シェラトンやオークラ）のカウンターになります。今回はシェラトンに宿泊した際のレポートです。

◾︎流れ 1、入口で振り分け 2階の入口の案内スタッフに宿泊するホテル名を聞かれます。ここで2階か1階か振り分けが行われます。1階へ行くにはベビーカーやキャリーケース用にエレベーターもありますが、私は階段を利用しました。

2、宿泊先ごとに呼ばれるまで待ちます 1階に降りるとまた宿泊するホテルを聞かれます。ここでホテルごとに案内されるラミネートされたカードを渡されます（添付の写真） その後、まずは一列に並ばされてホテルごとの呼び出しを待ちます。ここで呼び出しまでにそれなりに待たされます（ホテルにチェックインする人数により待ち時間が異なります。当日はシェラトンの人は少なかったようで、並んでいる人を何人か追い抜く形で手続きが始まりました）

3、宿泊先の列で並びます ホテルごとに呼び出しが行われた後は、ホテルのチェックインカウンターの列に並びます。ホテルごとに設けられたチェックインカウンターは２つ程度でしょうか。カウンターへの振り分けに、スイートルームが早いとか、県外から来たから早めに呼ばれるとかの特別対応は無さそう。個別事情は勘案されず、公平に呼ばれるの待ちます。（なおラミネートされたカードには40分から60分待たされる旨の記載がありますが、私の場合は平日の10時位の到着で30分の待ち時間でした）

4、チェックイン手続き ホテルごとのカウンターでチェックインと荷物の預け入れができます。地域限定クーポンの受け渡しもこちらで出来ました。チェックイン手続きと荷物の預かり証を発行してもらい終了です。

◾︎印象と所感 1、待ち時間をどう捉えるか 他の方がコメントされているように、到着してこれから遊びたいのに待たされるのはストレスになるかもしれません。私の場合は、家族は先にボンボヤージュに向かい、ディズニーグッズや園内で使用するカチューシャを選んで待ってくれました。役割分担をしたことで有意義な時間の過ごし方になりました。

2、先に待つか後に待つか？ 到着直後にこちらのウェルカムセンターで待ち時間を我慢するか、コインロッカーに荷物を預けて、夜にホテルのチェックインカウンターで待つか？の選択になると思います。 体力のある朝のうちに遊びたい気持ちを我慢してウェルカムセンターで並ぶか、疲れた体にムチを打って夜にホテルのカウンターで、並ぶか？は、その人の価値観に左右されます。私は朝のうちに手続きをしたことで、ホテルに着いたらすぐに休めましたので、納得感のある選択になりました。

3、荷物のデリバリーをどう考えるか ホテルまで自分で荷物を運ぶか？それとも舞浜駅からホテルに荷物を運んでもらうか？の選択になります。私は荷物は少なかったのですが、初めての宿泊でホテルまでの距離感が分からなかったので、こちらで預けることで気兼ねなくレジャーを楽しめました。

Great train ride to see all of the Disney parks. The vibe on the train is super Disney themed and I especially loved the Mickey shaped windows and the handles on the train. Depending on the theme, the train design changes and it’s super cute. Must ride for super Disney lovers. I saw many Disney details on the train that was very much appreciated!!
