We especially enjoyed the Wakayama castle for its collection of swords, battle armors and coats, and equipment which provide a visual sense of the clan’s history. It takes about 1-1.5 hr to go through the whole castle and its collections, but one that is easily enjoyable especially for history buffs. If you want to have a little walk around and see a castle. This is a fantastic place to be. I went here during Sakura season and It is beautiful. I am not sure how it is the rest of the year, however, It has many seating places, even atop the first wall, which i thought was really neat.
