Sundance Resort Yamanakako — Attraction in Yamanakako

We had a lovely few days stay at this three storey apartment. However because the patio backs on to an open court yard we were woken up at 7am by children screaming and running around and at night it was the same. ( if there wasn’t children there during our stay it would of been a lot better) but it ruined our stay here. The other issue was we had a 10 hour flight turned up at 2pm to find all the local restaurants shut so I requested to pay for two meals as we hadn’t eaten at 17.30 to be told “no sorry” it’s too late you have to request a meal before 16.30 so we ended up eating crisps in bed instead ! They also tried to charge us 2,500 to use the barbecue (no utensils were supplied my husband cooked with chop sticks !) apparently the 2,500 is a cleaning fee! Beware there is absolutely nothing to say you will be charged to use the barbecue that’s on your own rented patio. We were informed by a note being left by the cleaner! We pointed out we were not informed of the charge and therefore didn’t pay it with a bit of a fight! Nice place to stay with beautiful Mount Fuji across the road just be aware of children running around and letting off fireworks to which the staff did nothing about. Great pleasure living there by 4 people shared this 2 stories house in a block. Upper floor was an open space one bedroom combined with living area and kitchen, downstairs is second bedroom seperate from toilet and from bathroom. Porch at the entry when walk in the house. Room service for breakfast at extra cost. Plenty of time for using washing machine and car park underneath. Vending machine is available at the corner too. And an extra toilet outside of...

Very dated and tired looking from the outside but inside was very comfortable and modern. 2 level apartment #103 will give you beautiful views of the tip of Mt Fuji from upper level. Across the road from lake Yamanakako with amazing walking path along (we did full round on the bikes, with breathtaking scenery of Mt Fuji).
