Grossly overpriced. its beautiful from far away and thats about it.cost you more than disneyland if you do each ride at cosmo world.Go to disneyland or disneysea (which has very similar rides and some) instead you will get more bang for your buck and more ride for a similar price.i went there on a weekday night and it wasnt so crowded for anything else than the wheel . Its a popular spot for kids and teenagers.some of the rides keep on running empty.whats ridiculous is a short tiny few minute ride like the boat 800 yen PER PERSON NOT PER RIDE.1600 yens for a few minutes of fun for 2 people is abusive , especially of you know The average salary in japan.its the type of stuff you do once and never again. Beautiful and breath taking absolutly loved cosmo clock / the wheel you get a magnificent view of all yokohama.but that wheel you do it once you dont need to do it again . However its a super stiff 1000 yens per adult, most weels range 400 to 600 yens per person its one of the most expensive wheel i know of . When i went at night the line was long and waitted over 1h for the wheel. The only down side CASH ONLY NO CARD BE AWARE. Its free to enter yes but you gotta pay for every single thing and it get super pricey .if you do everything it will cost more than disney since everything is price sky rockey high. I wouldnt get out of my way to go cosmo world .tried it once won't go back again. Wish the ride were a bit more reasonably orice especially went prices of necessity and grocery are constantly going...
Read moreCosmo World in Yokohama is a delightful surprise tucked right into the heart of the city’s waterfront. It’s a compact but vibrant amusement park that offers something for everyone—from thrilling roller coasters to charming coin-operated rides for the little ones. We stopped by on our way to a nearby wedding venue, and I’m so glad we did!
My older kids had a blast on the big rides, especially the roller coasters, which were way more exciting than I expected for a city park. My youngest was enchanted by the tiny kiddie rides and arcade-style machines scattered throughout the grounds. It’s the kind of place where every age group finds their own joy.
One of the park’s most iconic features is the massive Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel, which lights up beautifully at night and doubles as a working clock. I didn’t get a chance to ride it this time, but it’s definitely on my list for next visit. There’s also a water ride that was surprisingly dry—perfect if you want the fun without the splash.
The location couldn’t be better: right by the water, close to the Yokohama World Porters mall, and surrounded by scenic views. At night, the whole area glows with colorful lights and reflections off the bay, making it a magical spot for an evening stroll. The park opens late—until around 11 PM—which makes it easy to squeeze in a visit even after a busy day.
Cosmo World isn’t huge, but it’s packed with charm and energy. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just want a fun detour in Yokohama, it’s absolutely...
Read moreDuring my visit, a male staff member — thin and frail in appearance — responded in an alarmingly aggressive manner. I hadn’t even used the gacha machines; I was simply browsing plush toys when he suddenly yelled, claiming that “middle school students are not allowed.” He raised his voice without warning and even made a handcuff gesture, saying “Do you want to go to the police station?” — a clear act of intimidation.
I am a woman in my 30s, a legal resident in Japan, and I immediately showed my ID to prove my age. Even after seeing it, he continued yelling without pause.
What’s even more disturbing is that there were other foreign customers in the store, but only we were targeted in this aggressive and disrespectful way. This is undeniably discriminatory and reflects a coercive, dehumanizing attitude. This was not a matter of rule enforcement — it was a case of treating someone as a potential criminal, and such threatening communication should never be tolerated.
This experience was shocking enough to ruin the enjoyment of my trip. The behavior of this staff member demonstrates a blatant disregard for basic professional conduct and customer service ethics. I sincerely hope that no one else will have to go through such an unpleasant and...
