That said, based on my visit, I strongly recommend coming during non-peak hours. Around 3 p.m., it tends to slow down, which makes a huge difference. I had seen others mention this in reviews but didnât realize how important it was until I experienced the layout challenges firsthand.
I want to share some honest feedback with the hope it helps the business improve, because I really do see the potential here.
Layout & Logistics
The current layout tries to maximize table space, but it ends up compromising the customer experience. Navigating the space is difficult â only one person can walk down the main lane at a time, and it took us 20 minutes just to settle in because of all the dodging and weaving around other guests. It might help to redesign the floor plan so that the tables circle the central food station rather than cramming too many into tight rows.
Food Station Efficiency
Another pain point was gathering the basics: tempura, dips, and skewers. These are essential to the kushikatsu experience, yet customers have to make multiple trips just to get set up â and the trays provided donât offer enough balance or support for carrying hot items and sauces. It might be helpful to have staff serve the tempura and dipping sauces directly to each table, or at least offer a more ergonomic tray setup.
