L.A.S.T Californian Restuarant — Restaurant in Yokohama

Amazing food and an awesome view of the Ferris wheel outside the window. The onion was to die for and we combined it with the monster burger that we split between the two of us. Proper western food that did not leave us wanting.

The decor also added a very western touch to the whole place. I took a picture of this cutie plushie that some humorous soul placed next to the cheesecake prop. All that combined with the fact that in google maps it is spelled "Restuarant" instead of restaurant, really compelled us to grab an early diner here. 🤭

I will say however there was just one thing that irked us a bit, and that was the cold reception. The place was empty when we got there with the exception of 2 couples at the far end of the restaurant. This is a huge place that easily seats 200 people. Yet a very disgruntled front desk man stopped us as we were coming in, and told us to go back outside and wait there. Which we did for a good 5 to 10 minutes, while the staff were milling around inside just chatting with one another. It's ok waiting to be seated, but when there is a real need for it rather than something so blatantly constructed.

So if you are in the mood for real hearty food but don't mind waiting for no good reason whatsoever, I would highly recommend this place. I know that I will be taking a chill pill to get me through the front desk and will be back...

Last Californian in Yokohama: A Slice of Sunny Vibes with a Sparkling View! My recent visit to Last Californian in Yokohama was an absolute treat! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home – a warm welcome that really set the tone for a great meal.

We decided to share a few dishes, and everything we tried was good. The nachos were a fantastic start, loaded with all the good stuff and perfect for munching on. And the meat plate, really satisfying portion to share. OH, and the pitcher of margaritas was for sure a treat!

But what truly added to the experience was the view. Being able to gaze out and see the iconic Ferris wheel sparkling in the distance as we dined was absolutely magical. It created such a vibrant and memorable backdrop to our meal.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some good food with good company and a fantastic voew. If you're looking for a taste of laid-back Californian vibes paired with super friendly service, food, and that captivating view of the Ferris wheel in Yokohama, Last Californian is definitely worth checking out. We left feeling...

We waited in line for about 10-20 min to get in during lunchtime.

I really wanted to try their blooming onion and it was just as delicious as I’d hoped.

Their nachos grande was tasty but missing beans and sour cream. Not very filling but it is an appetizer after all.

The Texas burger was very good. Meat was slightly tough but overall a delicious and flavorful burger. I love burgers with onion rings on them.

Me and my bf split these three items and were full after. I also ordered a coke which comes with free refills.

I hope to come back and try the jambalaya and chicken fajitas next time. It’s a very popular order here apparently.

It was kind of a pain to get the refills because apparently the bar is the only one that can put out drinks, even just fountain drinks.

The price was acceptable for the food quality.

The decor was fun and nostalgic. Nothing to complain about and gives a great atmosphere to the place.

Finally, the view is really lovely. The sun pours in through the windows and you can enjoy the sight of the colorful ferris wheel and other...
