As a tourist, this hotel was very accommodating and everything I needed. I've stayed in Japan before, so I am used to the small rooms and amenities.
The room is small, but it wasn't a big deal to me. I had 2 checked luggage and a backpack. I took what I needed out for my stay and repacked at the end.
If you plan on working with a laptop, go to the second floor. There weren't any three prong outlets in my room anyway. Again, this wasn't a big deal for me. The wifi is strong, and I had no issues.
The bathroom was perfect, and I love the amenities you can pick up in the lobby. The bath powders were awesome! Also, the room has disinfect spray and fabric spray.
The room has poor airflow, but I was rarely in it. I wish you could open the windows, but I understand it's a safety issue. It does get stuffy inside, so just be prepared. A hot shower or bath will clear your nose right up :)
The instructions were very detailed by the employees for how cleaning works. Basically, this hotel gives you the bare amount for a day, and you replenish as needed. Just ask if you have any questions. Again, it's not a big deal.
The front desk held my luggage and even said I could wait on the second floor until my departure time got closer.
You are within walking distance to the Sakuragicho and Bashamichi train stations. It's anywhere from 40min-60min into Tokyo, depending on where you want to go and about 60min to Yokosuka.
For the price I paid, I would stay here again. Yokohama was amazing! I had no plans to stay here, but I found so many places that made me want to come back. If you require a large room or plan on staying in your room, this place may not be for you. Lastly, I know it can be frustrating to the employees for non Japanaese speakers, but the staff here did an amazing job at meeting any requests or...
Read moreJust had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very nice and friendly. I have very limited knowledge of Japanese luckily the staff were able to speak English. The room was very clean and a typical size for a Japanese hotel. The hotel has a nice area on the second floor where there are tables and seating areas with free coffee and soda. This is also where the laundry is located. It’s a nice space for relaxing in the morning or evening. The hotel is right next to the Minatomirai area of Yokohama. Right across the street is the Yokohama city hall and from this building you can access the Bashamichi station on the Minato Mirai line, which can take you into central Tokyo. The second floor of city hall also provides a pedestrian bridge over to Sakuragicho station where you can access JR lines and the Yokohama subway. You can also go to the Landmark tower. Overall, just a great location. Highly...
Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel Resol Yokohama and was pleasantly surprised by its charm. The rooms, although quaint in size, were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel's location is excellent, with Yokohama City Hall conveniently situated across the street.
One of the standout features of Hotel Resol Yokohama is its tranquil atmosphere. Despite being located in a bustling city, the hotel is remarkably quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep.
The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service during my stay. While the hotel may not offer luxurious amenities, it provides great value for its price.
Overall, Hotel Resol Yokohama is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a comfortable, convenient, and peaceful stay in Yokohama. Its proximity to local attractions and public transportation makes it an excellent base for...
