Purchased three ishiuchi chair lift exchange tickets from them, and found out two of those were not stamped when we arrived ishiuchi lift ticket redemption counter. The staff told us that not stamped one is not able for redemption due to their policy which we totally understand it. Therefore we immediately called the rental staff for assistance. They asked us to buy at the counter and will refund the price difference when we get back. So in order to save time we followed it, but when we went back to the rental store, they told us they only willing to refund 1000 yen in total ( which the price difference for two chair life should be like 2000yen). I am very speechless… is not the proble of 2000 yen but is the problem of dishonest. And at the very first point, i believe is their fault right? I am not supposed to know that the exchange ticket should be stamped with their company name, they the staff should know better than me and they should double check before they pass to the customer. One of those are stamped and two weren’t not, what’s wrong with them? We were very helpless when we reached Ishiuchi as it is very far away from their rental store. Having done a booking for snowboarding equipment rental with their online form days in advance, I showed up at their reservation counter today, only to be told that they had run out of stock and be sent away. The staff apologised but didn't even attempt to recheck the latest stock for me. She didn't seem to understand how this can cause substantial disruptions to people's plans and there is no guarantee people can find another shop in the day with such short notice. I ended up checking with another staff member in the equipment store myself, who confirmed there was actually still stock then, before I could finally get my reservation honoured.
If one can't honour a reservation, don't take it. At least make sure you contact the customer to cancel the reservation beforehand. And if one can actually honour a reservation, don't say you can't!

It was cheaper than renting at gala that we were going to and the jackets and boards are of different design which is really helpful to differentiate your friends on the slope.
The rental process was smooth as we could speak in Mandarin which was the plus point and the staff was really helpful and gave us many tips since we are first timer.
We didn't know that there's ferry service to our ski slope which is the best. They were always very punctual and polite. We forgot to book for the second day and they were kind enough to remind us even though it was past their operating hours
