Shoku Rakua an KANAE — Restaurant in Yuzawa

This restaurant is amazing - I like not only their food but the cozy environment when you are dinning inside. Overall experience is 100% satisfaction.

Try the local products including the sake, sashimi, Murakami beef and Shiitake (mushroom) — they are so good!!

Highly recommended and Must try as a foreign visitor. I was choosing between dine-in at the ryokan that I stayed and going out to find a nice restaurant nearby. It was not an easy choice but I’m glad that I chose the latter one as I can also walk around the small town before/after this nice dinner... then go back to the onsen ryokan and enjoy.

There were three variations of a lunch set available and we got two of the three. Reasonable price for a set lunch.

Food was tasty and the staff were helpful when we pointed to what we wanted after translating via Google.
