Be aware, tourists! Do NOT take coffee or tea!! As I entered into this place, the woman sat at the desk asked me whether it was the first time for me there. I said yes, and she said I had to order coffee or tea. I asked her whether I "had to" drink something, and she said you MUST. I really didn't feel like to drink, so I asked her whether it was ok to look around the place first and then order the drinks. She said it was ok.
The place was very crowded. Many local (or Arabian) visitors. But, I realized that no one was having coffee or tea, except one western guy. No one else was being asked for the tea. I didn't understand the language, but I was not a fool. I coulld clearly see it. A moment later, an Asian girl came in, and the woman at the desk instantly asked her the same question she asked me. But, that Asian girl was with a moslim friend (presumly local), and she stopped asking for the tea.
This is ridiculous, and a very bad manner. If you want to make money with the tourists, then charge them an entrance fee. 1 JOD for everybody. Or turn the place into a cafe! That would be a better idea! Cheating Asian tourists with the drinks is really...
