Not worth of money. The guide has limited knowledge. The attitude was very money making. People at ticket counter is not cordial enough to foreign tourists. We are leaving at the the end of the day so watching butterflies and insect ourselves and these organization sent someone behind us (almost felt like chasing) who was uncomfortably behind us till we leave the place as there sunset walk was about to start. We were anyways didn't have intention for sunset but found this attitude extremely cheap from their end. We actually thought of sun set walk tickets but finally didn't take it and now happy about it. Forget about showing animals there were only one carnivore plants they could show us (I think they don't jump around and you don't have to have luck to watch them like you need to have luck for watching Royal Bengal Tiger, Sunderban, India.) The structure inside was massive but unnecessary because it's too man made inside a wild beautiful forest. It doesn't look sustainable at all. Finally I must say they have horrible communication to reach this place and no worth your time if you are a foreigner. I did the mistake and I don't want people to repeat the same. Sunset of the forest was beautiful from the nearby temple which you can have a free access to and people are nice. If you like rain forest, try Taiping. It's more beautiful and wild. Taiping is the 3rd most sustainable...

Our group of 8 adults and two kids ventured to Penang Hill & Curtis Crest Treetop walk on a weekday (Thursday 2/2/23), and reading other reviews, we may be just extremely lucky to have visited on an off peak day. We drove up from our resort at Double Tree Resort Hilton Penang, and were lucky that there was hardly any queue to buy the tickets at the funicular cable car to the top, and also the actual return trip up and down the hills. It costs RM12 return for a normal lane, as we didn’t have to buy the RM40 express lane for the cable car on the day. The Curtis Creat Treetop walk was quite physical and no pram allowed so be sure that your children are capable to walk by themselves without needing to be carried on the treetop walk for safety reason. The view was truly spectacular on the day, especially with no crowd but the maximum capacity is 100+, which the staff said would not be pleasant for the tourists so they normally restrict to 40+ max each time. A truly pleasant visit if you go on a nice day with...

This Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk is located at the top of Penang Hill, 800-meters above sea level, and embrace the 360-degree panoramic views of Penang Island from the highest viewing point of Penang.

Curtis Crest was named in honour of the 19th century English botanist Charles Curtis (1853-1928), who was the first superintendent of the Kebun Bunga Pulau Pinang.

Located 12 meters from the ground, Curtis Crest has a total length of 100 meters and forms a semi-circular loop at about 820 meters above sea level, about a hundred meters higher than the Top Station, which is about 720 meters above sea level.

From this vantage point, visitors to The Habitat get a panoramic view of Penang Hill at their feet. On a clear day, you can see as far as Muka Head and the Andaman Sea.

For safety reasons, Curtis Crest has a maximum capacity at any one time. So you should consider visiting it on weekdays, when the visitor volume is lower, so you can get to stay up...

A must visit when you are at Penang Hill.... 1) Admission Buy ticket from The Habitat cafe + funicular train ticket to get you to the top of the hill 2) Getting there Walk 5 minutes towards centre of Penang Hill where you can see the The Habitat booth just opposite to photography booth with snakes/parrot. Show the ticket, and they will give a ride by Hilux to The Habitat. 3) Getting to the highest point in Penang @ Curtis Crest Treetop Walk Walk through the The Habitat until you reach Curtis Crest Treetop Walk. Do take your time, enjoy the beauty of flora and fauna as there is a number of interesting scenery on the way to CCTW 4) @ Curtis Crest Treetop Walk - They will shut off operation if there is storm or heavy rain detected. Make sure to see forecast first - Their friendly staff will guide you on the do and donts on the CCTW - You can witness Penang at a whole another level! - Theres is few mystery, historic houses worth taking note to
