Edgecliff Gallery@Penang Hill — Attraction in George Town

Entrance Fee: MYR10 The gallery is clean and the interactive funicular train works! Usually interactive sections in the museum rarely work and are always under maintenance so kudos to that! Thanks to Faridah for guiding us through the gallery and helping as the impromptu photographer. There's 5 sections and I completely just walked past the Time Tunnel and started at the Biodiversity section instead. The Funicular gallery is my favourite. Initially did not expect much, but turned out to really enjoy the experience. The gallery talks about how Penang was formed, the heritage of penang hill, the biodiversity here, and the railway system. Walking through the gallery is like walking through a meaning story. I also found the gallery very beautifully and cleverly designed. They did their best to present the information in an interesting manner. Fun museum to learn more about the history of Penang Hill. Small museum, probably don't need more than 20 minutes here. AC is great, and staff helped us take photos at the top and also told us more about the history of the bungalows.

The museum itself is a restored bungalow, and opened just a few years ago. Fun to see how quickly attractions are the hill are being developed.
