Beach Bar — Restaurant in Johor

Westin’s outdoor bar that nicely situation next to beach (hence the name beach bar). Due to windy season it was pretty cooling still even its al-fresco style, enjoy it a lot.

Food there was nice, tried ayam percik and spinach, both are nice. However, the percik sauce tend to attract a lot of flies (big ones) and good thing the staff there is quick enough to provide us the “helicopter” to prevent flies.

There is beer and wine as well with acceptable price range, same goes to the food.

Staff there is responsive and polite, but some of them seem like trainee and not able to understand or explain the menu well.

Overall, place is nice for light meal while enjoying the “vitamin sea” with...

I was looking forward to relaxing at this beach bar, but the experience was quite disappointing. I first tried to order a coconut, only to be told that it wasn’t fresh and couldn’t be served. Then, I opted for a milkshake, but was informed that the blender was broken—which seemed a bit funny for a bar.

Left with fewer options, I settled for a chilled cranberry juice, which unfortunately tasted artificial and not refreshing at all. Price of bottled Guinness is insane, RM48 .To top it off, the bar closes very early at 8 PM, which felt too early for a beachside venue.

Overall, the atmosphere might be nice, but the limited drink availability and early closing time made it a letdown....

Disappointed with our visit here today. The service is not good and the price is very steep. No value at all. Come here if you want to pay RM10 for one serving of white rice. Yes, RM10 just for white rice. On the menu it’s RM5, but when I pay they said it’s RM10 just that the menu is not updated (means they just updated the price recently, 2x the previous price)..not just that, from 6 to 10pm they only let you choose a few things to order..all high priced..they want to earn more during this time which I can understand but this just tells me how much revenue focus they are..not service and value driven..one and last time..don’t...
