The Elephant and the Butterfly — Restaurant in Johor

What a let down of Hard Rock Hotel Restaurant... We went for a quick dinner in this restaurant... First of all service was slow... I had to keep reminding them what is left of the order... Drinks came after we finished the food...what's the point then..

They were good enuf to make things vegetarian for us...Food was good and tasty.... Mocktail (Mango Nada) which my wife ordered was good... but Cocktail (Mexican Story) wasn't..

It's a poolside ambience.. that too a small pool.. my residential society has a much bigger pool than this...

Overall, not to great an experience.. but if you are Vegetarian(like we were).....

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Elephant and the Butterfly! The beef quesadillas and chicken tacos were absolutely delicious — and the tomato dipping sauce totally won over our toddler’s heart. Yes, we even requested an extra portion of it!

What made the visit truly memorable was the exceptional service from Hilmi. His thoughtfulness left a lasting impression — he was friendly, polite, and went out of his way to make our toddler’s birthday extra special. He even surprised us with a slice of cake and sang a birthday song for our 3-year-old!

We left feeling so happy and grateful. Can’t wait to visit...

Terrible service. Had to ask for drinks 3 times, noone served us so had to walk to the waiters several times, they got part of our order wrong, one waiter was standing around doing nothing with his back to us and pretended not to hear us and left whenever we asked for him.

The most terrible part was that the staff gave the people queuing behind us a table, then told us the restaurant was full (even though we had exactly the same number of people in the other group).
