Jadioc MyTown has been my brother’s go-to barbershop for 3 years; and his favorite barber is Kent Lim.
I had my first haircut here on 24th March 2025, right before raya with Yusry Zack. My honest reviews: Booking: It was very, very easy to book with Jadioc. Just head over to Jadioc’s website and everything is pretty much self-explanatory. UI/UX of the website is easy to understand, and booking/cancellation/alteration of the booking was at the tip of your finger. Barber (Yusry Zack): Yusry listened and delivered. I requested for a comma haircut, but my hair at that point was a little too short for it. Instead, he suggested for me to go for a taper, cut the side of my hair slightly neater & rounder to give the silhouette of the comma haircut. Then, he gave me tips on how to style my hair, and what to do in order for me to get the hairstyle I wanted. He even suggested me to head over to other Jadioc’s branches if I considered to have a side perm since Jadioc MyTown does not offer that service at that time; due to the absence of the machine. Ambience : The place was neat, clean and comfortable. Waiting area for the barber was comfortable enough even though I spent there for a mere 5 minutes. Service by other barbers : The rest were friendly to me. It was very systematic while waiting for Yusry to get prepared to cut my hair. Price : For an established barbershop with the brand, I had a wash+haircut for RM55 which is fair-to-high. I’ve been to other barbers that charged me even more expensive with no ability to pay digitally. Jadioc caters to all sorts of payment methods; card, QR or cash.
Safe to say that Jadioc MyTown won another returning...
Read moreThis is my second time coming to Jadioc mytown and this is my honest review the first time I come here, my hair was cut by some Chinese guy and he did an amazing job he really understood what I want and even offer me an advice on how to style it etc so I was really satisfied with it but there's a problem on my second visit which is today (22/12/2021) I come in the shop and was greeted by guy who call himself diego, now I have few problem with this guy, he barely understand what I'm trying to say (he's a foreigner) so he ask me to show the pic and I did, I ask for a wolf cut which looks like curtain hairstyle combine with mullet so basically short on the side long on the backside. Everything's was going well until he cut my backside shorts so I was kinda mad but I decided to let it go and just move on from it and here's the second problem, after finishing washing my hair it's time for hair drying process but he didn't dried it properly my hair was still slightly wet and the way he style my hair also looks horrible, come on guys with the price that you guys charge I expect it to be atleast decent and there shouldn't be any communications problem, he can't even understand when I said that I want my hair with volume?? That's literally basic English. when I pay a certain amount of money I want my barber that can understand what I'm trying to say and give me service that match with the price but this time it's really disappointing. overall I'm truly disappointed and dissatisfied with my...
Read moreFound this gem while randomly scrolling. They are located at level B1, near bread story/llao llao booth. Made an appt via their website, choose Kent as my barber.
Kent is super bubbly and chill character to chat with, also he gave me many pro tips and cheats to manage my insane curly tipped hair. I told him to style my hair whatever way he seems fit (on the condition im a lazy person to style it in the morning). Tbh, i like this style. With only 3 simple steps to recreate it esp when rushing, blow dry, pommade and push forward, done. Love it.
This barber shop made me reminiscent of when my dad took me to a real barber shop as a kid. They even use that flip type shaver that replaces the blade.
This whole process took about 30minutes. Pricing is on their site when booking for an appt. Fyi, Kent will call u 15mins prior to confirm ur appt again, smth i...
