Goobne Chicken - MyTOWN Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Terrible!! Ordered food on 12.54pm. Until 1.15pm, drinks are not serve to me yet, BUT!!! customers who reach after me all got their drinks while waiting for the food. Furthermore, food is start serving to them and some is already eating!!! I have placed order before they reaching here, and even my drinks wasn't serve to me yet! I asked one of the staff, which is the only staff which have name tag, her name is NAD, I asked to check my order, then she went to kitchen to check, after awhile I saw she back to counter click something then back to kitchen again. After that, she come back to me, and tell me still need to wait 8mins. I ask her why mine is so late, as other customers who came after me already eating. She told me because I ordered 24pcs, so need to wait longer. Then I answer, but my drinks wasn't serve to me too, until I request for it, as other table they all received their drinks awhile after they place order. She answer me, because just now got some issue with the beverage preparation, they just settled it. After she answer me this, another staff that cleaning table make some mess, then Ms Nad straight go away to lend a help, and then didn't come back anymore. SHE ESCAPE FROM ME!!! She didn't appear anymore! Then I ask another female staff where's my food, she go to kitchen and also didn't come out again. So total 2staffs disappear. After few minutes, I ask a male staff to check is my food ready or not, then he go checking, come back tell me its ready and serving soon. At last, food served on 1.31pm. Well, lastly, there's few drumsticks wasn't fully cooked yet..... While eating, finally Ms Nad come out lo.... And, until I settled my bill, she don't even dare to have eye contact with me. There's not even a SORRY. Just tell that u missed my order I won't be so angry, but she's giving nonsense reason.... Really disappointed to this kind of service...

Overall 7/10, Environment 7/10, Service 6/10, Food 8/10 (base on the only one dish ordered), Price 7/10 Comfortable environment - looks clean and tidy. During the visit, not crowded in the restaurant. Staff are generally friendly, asked us whether to straight away order the food or to have a look on the menu even NEVER pass us the menu (I have no idea what type of food this restaurant serving) and we yet to be enter or bring us seat to the restaurant. Of course, we decided to seat and look into the menu (as this is the first i visit to GOOBNE). Ordered a signature dish - boneless roasted 800g chicken (which can choose 2 flavours) = Served in 2 separate plates. And it cost Rm48. The taste of the marinated boneless chicken was juicy and good. For those who can't afford to eat spicy... Probably the signature chicken Volcano is too spicy, if you are not the spicy lover. Overall worth to have a try. Pricy on the food serving in the menu. For the Ordering, we have to walk to the cashier counter to make our ORDER & PAY the order at the counter OURSELF. They didn't provide the service to take your order at your seat. while waiting out food. I saw the other 3 customers entred restaurant and stand and looking on the menu at the cashier counter. Probably the service crew may serve them a seat via they haven't decide what to order. I feel that either they should improve and provide a better service or shouldn't charge the service charge 10% on the customer. Restaurant charge 10% service charge + 6% sst. Accept Grabpay on...

1st time here. Unique dishes and menu choices, especially their chicken flavours. A bit annoyed that I can't try them all, as I can only have 1 flavour per set. Picked the Deep Cheese Chicken set, it was an interesting flavour, powdered with cheese and the fried texture taste so good.

When you think of Korean chicken, you'll think fried chicken, but no, Goobne's are oven roasted, it taste just as good as fried chicken - actually even better. The waiting time is not long, we sat at 8.40pm and finished dining at 9.19pm. The service is fast and great, place is clean and hygenic.

I ordered the couple set, the portion is ample enough to even bring back some home. Their drinks selection is interesting. Sooteok is just so-so. Kimchi dumpling taste great.

At the time there's only few floor staffs, however, they're very organised, to clean up the table, one takes away used dishes and cutleries and the other clean the table. Setting up the table is also very quick for them, the cutleries are sanitised as well, one set for everyone at the table, even the tissue is one piece per person, which is not enough, please give more tissues, I'm pretty sure they'll give more if I asked, but they should provide extra tissues.

The songs, mv, and promotional videos are all korean, kpop lovers will appreciate it - I think.

The atmosphere is good, food is good, service is good, would recommend people to come here. It's a nice place to eat alone, with friends or with...
