Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Lotus’s Kepong Dear Lotus’s Customer Service Team,
I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service I received at your Kepong branch.
Recently, I visited the store to purchase fewer than 10 items and proceeded to the self-checkout counter. One of the items I picked up was a towel that did not have a barcode. This is not the customer’s fault, as product barcodes should be in place before items are put on display.
When I politely asked a staff member (a lady working nearby) if she could provide the product code, she told me to “go and take another one with the code and scan it myself.” I found this response unhelpful and unprofessional. As a customer, I believe it is the staff’s responsibility to assist in such situations and to provide the correct code or help retrieve the correct item, rather than asking customers to do it themselves.
Furthermore, I don’t understand why an item without a barcode was placed for sale in the first place. Staff should check product conditions, expiry dates, and barcode readiness before putting items on the shelf.
This experience left me feeling very disappointed. I hope Lotus’s will take this feedback seriously and improve both the quality control of products on display and the attitude of staff towards customers.
Thank you for your attention...
Read moreWhen The first order was delivered, the driver said I needed to pay at the door, cause my payment has not been finished. My receipt he brought clearly stated COD. I showed him the online receipt saying the amount will be taken out after the delivery. We called the lotus office and double checked, the lady confirmed that's the way it is, the driver apologized me politely and I received my order.
At second delivery today, the driver came 2 hours early (so it was not my time slot) and he also told me that my payment had not been made. I asked him to call the office to check, and the guy on the phone also said that I need to make the payment now. He kept telling me to go check out the "cart" and I looked into the app, there is no such a thing like "cart" in the app, only my Basket which is empty and my booked slot with scheduled delivery, I asked him many times how I can process the payment after this but he couldn't tell me how but told me that I cannot have the order because I haven't paid. I told him to call again but he refused, saying he just delivers, so that's not his job.
How does this happen? I don't care what system Lotus / tesco have but why do I have to tell and explain everytime I have the delivery and sometimes give up what I wanted to have?
I am totally uncomfortable with this and will never make an...
Read moreTesco!!!!! Is convenient and magnetic however the Malaysian authorities should look into this British operator in Malaysia for supplying the innocent public 1kg biscuits at $10 and chicken at $4.99 a kilo. Seem value buys. These are usually $15 and $6.99 respectively. The contents of the biscuits dont taste like biscuit or rice or wheat or any flour and leave belly in the belly after its consumption. The chickens stale with family turning sick after a well cooked meal. Rice grain from Tesco on cooking leaves a layer of film on the top and if the cooked grain dries it turns sharp.as a needle .
These are my experiences.
Tesco needs to carefully and responsibly source goods . Customers already spend time in traffic , searching for parking queueing for chicken to be cleaned and cut abt 30 min in some instances and go bac home to cook and fall sick.
The British managers on the Tesco floor need mindful public behaviour tone down and humble yourselves . This is not ur country and therefore treat the Malaysian staff with deserving respect . U are known as_ __ _ _ _ _ on the common wealth planet so be remorseful if not professional, pls serve the land accountably.
Pls find a way to quality assure what you sell is biscuit or is real rice grain and chicken from farms or plants that...
