This place is hugeee! The layout looks like the exact replica of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, especially with the arrangement of escalators and stairs in the centre court. I like that it's huge, each store has ample space for you to walk around and is not cluttered. Please bear in mind that many of the shop lots do not have tenants yet, so the mall does look a little empty and a little dead in certain areas. However, many of the spaces seem like they'll be occupied soon so I bet the place will look livelier then. At the time I went on a weekday, many of the parking spots were still available, a lot of the more irresponsible owners chose to park outside and blocked part of the way going out. However, I like that the parking spaces are bright, and they have allotted many spaces near the entrance for ladies parking. The paths are also wide and spacious enough for bigger cars so I appreciate the extra space that does not make one feel claustrophobic. Parking rates are still reasonable, not like its sister mall in KL, hopefully they maintain this way. Spent the whole day there and only ended up having to pay RM5. As mentioned, the mall is huge and already has a number of interesting stores available like the gorgeous Tsutaya Bookstore. The mall is separated into different zones (Pink and Orange etc.) so better take note of where you park or else you'd end up walking all over the mall. I enjoyed the walk though, but I wished the mall management would place more seats along the way for people to rest all throughout the mall. This would also be helpful for family members especially senior citizens to wait and rest their feet. I also hope they'd add more signages because it was not that clear where different zones are (again because of the huge space). It'd also be helpful if they could add more maps throughout the place. We only found one available servicing a huge area, and there were people waiting to use that one screen after us. All in all, still a huge place to explore and I'm sure it'd be a crowd favorite around the area once more stores open soon. I could see they would have the Tokyo street like the one in KL, and rows of shops dedicated for Thai and Malaysian products. Hope they'd improve so we get to enjoy all these soon.

The mall is huge and offers a variety of F&B places. Most are rather upmarket but there's good food to be found at The Food Merchant side that won't burn too big a hole. Coffee lovers will find a cuppa around the price of RM 9-13 depending on your preferences, standard mall prices. For those who loathes driving, there's a temporary free shuttle service (until end Dec 2023) in the form of the new RapidKL double-deck bus (not GoKL) from Awan Besar LRT to Pavilion Bkt Jalil. Drivers are hardly friendly, so be on the lookout for the buses. They depart on time, which is excellent. Journey is about 10mins or less. You can find the bus schedules almost all around the mall's entrance area or check their mall's website. Like most observers, this mall is seriously crippled without any benches for shoppers on every floor. The only places one could sit & rest would be outside the toilet areas, or inside Tsukaya bookstore - otherwise, it forces you to purchase something to be able to have a seat. It'll take a good part of the day to explore the entire mall for first timers as it is huge and wide. About 80% shops with occupants. For those who come with families and have no idea where to stash their kids temporarily, there are places for kids to have fun in a closed environment. I counted about 2-3 such spots. Tickets for admission. Do ask Information for more details. You'll easily break 10k steps within by walking/exploring end to end on all floors. Again, the place is rather upmarket, so ensure you have sufficient funds for shopping/eating out.

My First Purchase with Nars: Bad Experience and Mean Staff Outlet: Pavilion Bukit Jalil I bought a foundation on Tuesday, 23 July 2024. When the salesperson applied the foundation, the shade suited my skin. However, about an hour after returning home, I noticed the foundation had darkened on my skin. This was contrary to the product's claim of "lasting 16 hours without oxidizing." After observing this for a few hours, I contacted the store for advice. I was told to search Google to confirm that the foundation does not oxidize. However, I discovered on social media that others had experienced similar issues, with feedback suggesting opting for a lighter shade. Since the receipt indicated exchanges are accepted within 7 days, I returned to the store the same day to request a lighter shade. However, her colleague only provided me with a sample of a lighter shade and asked me to try it at home. On 27 July 2024, I returned to the store to exchange the foundation for a lighter shade. Unfortunately, my request was rejected. The staff were somewhat impatient and insisted I had agreed to the color at the time of purchase. However, I could not have foreseen that the foundation would darken on my skin after application, especially since they assured me it wouldn’t darken and would last for 16 hours. They also claimed exchanges are only allowed for damaged items, which contradicts the statement on the receipt: "No product exchanged if used or damaged." On 28 July 2024, I went to the Sunway Pyramid outlet to try for an exchange. The staff there were helpful and tried to resolve my concerns, but they were unable to process the exchange because their system is different from the Pavilion Bukit Jalil outlet. They advised me to return to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. They confirmed that the company offers exchanges if the product is unused and undamaged, and I was fulfilling those conditions. They even consulted their manager for me. Later that night, I received a message from Pavilion Bukit Jalil offering to exchange the foundation. It was very time-consuming, as I had already visited twice for the exchange, only to be declined with a bad attitude. On 29 July 2024, I went back to do the exchange. The shade I preferred was out of stock, so they exchanged it for another type. The same staff member who had previously served me tried to be nice this time. It was amusing when they mentioned they would cover the fee for the foundation pump of RM30 because of their mistake. I had bought the Sheer Glow foundation (Selling Price RM210), which automatically included a charge of RM240 because it required an extra pump for RM30. Due to the out-of-stock situation, they exchanged it for another type of foundation priced at RM225, which already included the pump. It seemed like they were trying to offset the RM30 difference in their system, not as “compensation”. I was too tired to continue discussing and made no further comment because it had already wasted so much of my time. Additionally, their system was inefficient. Each time I made a purchase or exchange, I had to wait a long time at the cashier.

Worst Parking Experience Ever - Pavilion Bukit Jalil I had the most frustrating experience at Pavilion Bukit Jalil regarding their parking system. There are no parking payment machines in the pink zone area. I spent 20 minutes going through every single floor from B1 to level 5, and I couldn't find a single payment machine. To make matters worse, there's no option to pay online. In order to pay online you still need to look for a parking machine, scan the QR code and pay online. Totally rubbish. When I tried calling customer service, no one answered. I then walked over to the customer service desk, where I was told I had to go to the parking management office and they will lead me to the parking machine. This is absolutely ridiculous! How can a shopping center of this class not have adequate parking machines? The told me the whole mall has 22 parking machines and customers can look for it. I said there's no guidance to show where's the parking machine and clearly around where I park there isn't any parking machines. I asked him 'so you expects customers to walk around your mall without any signs to try to look for parking machines?'. Amazingly both customer service and parking management said yes that's expected of a customer!!!! I started looking for a payment machine at 12:40 PM and continued searching until 1:00 PM with no success. I had to complain to customer service and wait another 15 minutes for the parking management office to assist me. In total, I wasted 45 minutes just to find a way to pay for parking and leave the mall. This is totally unacceptable.

The main thing to know about this mall is its LENGTH. It's really long and the distance to traverse from one end to another is very far. You'll spend so much time walking and getting exhausted. Food is on level 1. The grocery is also on level 1 but located at the furthest corner. That's probably all you need to know about the planning. There are NO BENCHES to rest at all. So be wary if you bring elderly folks. The mall forces you to buy food at the cafes to sit down which is one of the oldest marketing tactics. Overall, I wasn't as impressed with the mall layout as Pavillion KLCC mainly because of how tiring it was to find the shops I wanted. Come here if you are prepared to walk a lot. Imagine buying a lot of things and weighing yourself down with heavy items and finding your parking lot? I can just imagine the nightmare maze down there if the mall layout is already so wide and confusing. Cleanliness is good though. There are a variety of mid to premium tier brands for clothes and other consumer goods. The main attractions for me were the Tsutaya Bookstore and Muji but other than that, nothing much. I just think they should put more benches for people to rest. There's no way you can walk the full length for all 5 floors without getting exhausted. It's very inconvenient and tiring walking the entire mall. Takes the fun out of it. Very inconsiderate management. Go only if you're ready to hit 10k steps in an hour.

If you're in the mood for a little retail therapy and a cultural experience all in one, then the huge shopping mall located just a 30-minute drive from KL city center is the place for you. With a section dedicated to Japanese products and food, as well as two department stores and a shop that sells plants, this mall has something for everyone. The Japanese section is a real treat for fans of all things Japan. From authentic bento boxes and sushi to traditional clothing and household items, there's no shortage of options to choose from. The food court features several Japanese restaurants offering everything from ramen to tempura, and there's even a section dedicated to Japanese sweets and desserts. If you're in the market for some new clothes or home goods, Parkson department stores have you covered. With a wide selection of brands and styles to choose from, you're sure to find something that catches your eye. And if you're feeling a little green-fingered, the plant shop has a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants to choose from, making it the perfect place to pick up a little something for your home. All in all, this shopping mall is a great place to spend a day and check out some of the best that Japan has to offer, all while getting your shopping fix. Just make sure you bring your wallet and your walking shoes - you'll need both to fully experience everything this mall has to offer.
