My First Purchase with Nars: Bad Experience and Mean Staff Outlet: Pavilion Bukit Jalil I bought a foundation on Tuesday, 23 July 2024. When the salesperson applied the foundation, the shade suited my skin. However, about an hour after returning home, I noticed the foundation had darkened on my skin. This was contrary to the product's claim of "lasting 16 hours without oxidizing." After observing this for a few hours, I contacted the store for advice. I was told to search Google to confirm that the foundation does not oxidize. However, I discovered on social media that others had experienced similar issues, with feedback suggesting opting for a lighter shade. Since the receipt indicated exchanges are accepted within 7 days, I returned to the store the same day to request a lighter shade. However, her colleague only provided me with a sample of a lighter shade and asked me to try it at home. On 27 July 2024, I returned to the store to exchange the foundation for a lighter shade. Unfortunately, my request was rejected. The staff were somewhat impatient and insisted I had agreed to the color at the time of purchase. However, I could not have foreseen that the foundation would darken on my skin after application, especially since they assured me it wouldn’t darken and would last for 16 hours. They also claimed exchanges are only allowed for damaged items, which contradicts the statement on the receipt: "No product exchanged if used or damaged." On 28 July 2024, I went to the Sunway Pyramid outlet to try for an exchange. The staff there were helpful and tried to resolve my concerns, but they were unable to process the exchange because their system is different from the Pavilion Bukit Jalil outlet. They advised me to return to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. They confirmed that the company offers exchanges if the product is unused and undamaged, and I was fulfilling those conditions. They even consulted their manager for me. Later that night, I received a message from Pavilion Bukit Jalil offering to exchange the foundation. It was very time-consuming, as I had already visited twice for the exchange, only to be declined with a bad attitude. On 29 July 2024, I went back to do the exchange. The shade I preferred was out of stock, so they exchanged it for another type. The same staff member who had previously served me tried to be nice this time. It was amusing when they mentioned they would cover the fee for the foundation pump of RM30 because of their mistake. I had bought the Sheer Glow foundation (Selling Price RM210), which automatically included a charge of RM240 because it required an extra pump for RM30. Due to the out-of-stock situation, they exchanged it for another type of foundation priced at RM225, which already included the pump. It seemed like they were trying to offset the RM30 difference in their system, not as “compensation”. I was too tired to continue discussing and made no further comment because it had already wasted so much of my time. Additionally, their system was inefficient. Each time I made a purchase or exchange, I had to wait a long time at the cashier.

It’s 2025, and Pavilion Bukit Jalil is still using paper parking tickets? đŸ€Ż I seriously can’t believe I have to rant about this. Today’s experience at Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s parking system was just
ridiculous. This place looks all high-end, branded as some kind of “luxury mall,” yet somehow still relies on those old-school paper parking tickets?? I’m not trying to nitpick, but the whole situation was just super frustrating. I brought my family for a short outing — mainly to check out the B.Duck exhibition and to shop for toys at Toys “R” Us. We spent about two hours there, made some solid purchases, had a nice time
until we got back to the car and realized — I lost the paper parking ticket. 😭 Went to the service counter, and guess what? They told me I had to pay RM50 fine, no discussion. Like
seriously?? RM50 just because I lost a little piece of paper?? I asked politely if I could show them my shopping receipts to prove we didn’t even stay that long, and that we did spend money in the mall — but nope. The staff just coldly replied, “Sorry, that’s the policy.” No flexibility. No discount. No empathy. Come on, Pavilion Bukit Jalil — it’s 2025! So many malls — even smaller community ones — have already upgraded to ticketless systems: license plate scanning, app payments, seamless entry/exit. It’s convenient, eco-friendly, and way more modern. Yet here you are, still depending on a fragile little ticket that’s so easy to misplace? That’s not premium, that’s outdated. And don’t get me started on the price. Your parking isn’t cheap to begin with. Plus, parents like us are already juggling kids, shopping bags, multitasking — and now we also need to constantly worry about a tiny slip of paper?? I wasn’t trying to avoid paying. I was ready to pay for the actual time we parked. But this whole “lose the ticket = RM50 flat fine” policy feels like a cash grab — not a customer-first solution. Here’s what Pavilion Bukit Jalil really needs to do: đŸ”č Upgrade your parking system already — go ticketless, like the rest of the world đŸ”č Offer some kind of flexibility or grace when people clearly did shop inside đŸ”č Listen to customer feedback — not just hide behind “It’s the rule” Honestly, this experience makes me hesitate to return. I don’t mind spending money at a nice mall — but don’t make me feel like I’m being punished for it. And before anyone says, “Just don’t lose the ticket next time,” let me say this: We’re not just paying for parking. We’re paying for convenience, for good service, for a modern experience that respects our time and money. So — Pavilion Bukit Jalil, if you want to be a truly premium mall, it’s time to upgrade more than just your shopfronts. Your systems and customer service need to catch up too. #ParkingRant #PavilionBukitJalil #OutdatedParkingSystem #LostTicketRM50 #It’s2025ComeOn #NotJustAboutMoney #CustomerExperienceMatters #FamilyDayGoneWrong #ParentingLife #DoBetter

If there’s one place in Kuala Lumpur that makes me feel like I could spend the entire day just wandering around without getting bored, it’s definitely Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by this incredibly spacious, airy, and beautifully designed space that instantly puts you in a good mood. Everything feels open and bright ,not too crowded, not too noisy , just the perfect balance for a relaxing shopping day. What I love most is how well-organized everything is. You don’t get that lost, maze-like feeling that some other malls give you. The escalators and elevators are placed close together, which sounds like a small detail, but honestly, it makes a huge difference when you’re carrying bags or shopping with family. It’s one of those thoughtful design touches that really shows how much they care about convenience. And let’s talk about the food , because oh my goodness, this mall is a food lover’s paradise! There are so many restaurants and cafĂ©s to choose from, especially if you’re a fan of Chinese cuisine. Think of steamy baskets of dim sum, hand-pulled noodles, and those irresistible Hong Kong, style roasted meats. Whether you’re going for a cozy meal with your loved ones or just grabbing a quick solo lunch, you’ll never run out of options here. When it comes to shopping, Pavilion Bukit Jalil also hits the sweet spot. You’ll find tons of fashion stores, shoe shops, and accessories outlets ranging from everyday brands to slightly more upscale ones. Prices are pretty reasonable, so it’s easy to pick up something stylish without feeling guilty afterward. One of my favorite stops is definitely Parkson Pavilion Bukit Jalil. It’s like its own little department store universe , with sections for bags, clothes, shoes, and even cosmetics. If you visit during festive seasons or big sale periods, you can catch amazing promotions and discounts. I’ve scored some really good deals there! All in all, Pavilion Bukit Jalil isn’t just a shopping mall , it’s a place to unwind, discover new things, and enjoy your day at your own pace. Whether you’re looking for a delicious meal, a bit of retail therapy, or just a pleasant stroll in a clean, modern space, this mall checks all the boxes. So next time you’re in KL, take a few hours (or maybe the whole day ) and explore Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Trust me , it’s worth every minute

Trust me , it’s worth...
