Sago Catering — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Definitely the best caterer we have had for a dinner buffet at home.

The setting was beautiful: a transparent Arabic canopy with fairy lights and a chandelier twinkling above black and gold table settings created a beautiful atmosphere in the garden. They even brought pot plants for decor and pink orchids in vases for the table settings.

We chose an Asian menu, to enjoy the best of Malaysian cuisine, and it was done to perfection. The aroma of chicken berempah cooked on site, was mouth watering. For me, succulent lamb rendang and Malaysian desserts were a highlight. Every dish was delicious and there was a generous amount of food for the numbers.

Organisation was ably handled by Claudette, Rajan, Raman and team. A pre-party visit by team leader Claudette the week before the event to check the site, our requirements, and to discuss logistics ensured everything met (and indeed surpassed) our expectations.

The pre-party quotation encompassed all services, including the canopy, tables, ceramic plates, proper cutlery, glasses, printed souvenir menus, and all the food. For a group of 30-35 we enjoyed the service of 4 smartly dressed staff for the whole evening. There were no hidden expenses. One staff knowledgeably manned our bar, serving drinks as well as the delectable pandan lime drink and cooler included in the menu package. The service was excellent and as hosts we were able to enjoy the evening to the full, just as much as any of the guests, without concerns.

The clean- up at the end was done efficiently and the canopy was removed next day.

In conclusion Sago are highly recommended. Many thanks for making our party such a special evening :))
