This temple, the Shree Lakshmi Narayana Mandir is the one and the only very old mandir.

This temple is so beautiful and unique. Very quiet yet peaceful, very peaceful temple.

Most of the devotees are of the Hindus of the Sindhi community whose Gujarat - Rajasthan origin from the Northern India.

They speaks and communicate by means of their native language Hindi and many able to read the Sanskrit. Of course they do speaks and understand Tamil and English.

Devotees here are often mistaken as the Punjabis or the Sikh. This temple is not the Gurdwara aka the Sikh temple but there are Sikh devotees who also worships lord Lakshmi Narayana, Lord Thurga, and shares the same faith as other the Hindus.

This temple is ultimately happening annually during the Navrathri. The 10 auspicious days dedicated to Lord Thurga aka Amman.

The legend associated with Navratri speaks about the great battle between the powerful demon Mahishasura and Goddess Durga. Each year, on each day of Navratri, an incarnation of “Goddess Thurga” is worshipped to celebrate the day of her victory over Mahishasura, and the ultimate victory of 'Good over Evil.”

For many people it is a time of religious reflection and fasting, while for others it is a time for dancing and feasting. Fasting customs are observing a strict vegetarian diet and abstaining from alcohol and certain spices. Fasting during Navrathri is a sign of their devotion to the deity, as well as to purge their minds and souls from impurity.

There are many vegetarian food, sweets and drink stalls that serves unique foods from all over the northern Indian region namely Gujarat and Rajasthan...

A Hindu temple located in central area of Kuala Lumpur - A gathering point for almost all the major Hindu festivals of India. The premise is peaceful and clean. The temple has plenty of parking space available. The premise has 2 small temples and a large temple which houses almost all the major Hindu deities. The premise boasts of a midsize community hall - enough to hold about 200-250 people with ease, complete with a stage. Has a large space for dining - enough to hold 200-250 people. It also has good sanitation facilities. Midsize open space is available for small cultural activities. A smallish Hindi medium school is also run in the premise...

1 of the cleanest Temple in Malaysia. House both Siva n Vishnu Gods. The concept is like hall type. We can be sitted to pray or listen to prayers speach and ceremonies. My favourate is to pour water on Siva Lingham. Its free n devotee can do it on his own. Its not possible in other temples n its charged upto RM10 per small pot. The other unique is d Navagragham. Here d positionnof planet Buthan is different n he share's Guru's side. In normal temple Guru is alone on his side....

Lakshmi Narayan Temple is located in Jalan Kasipillay, it takes 15 minutes from KL Central to reach the big temple. The Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Kuala Lumpur serves as a religious centre for the Hindu community being a focal place of worship, prayer, and devotional practices. The construction of the temple dedicated to Laxmi Narayana started in 1933, built by industrialist and philanthropist, Baldeo Das Birla and his son Jugal Kishore Birla of the Birla family.

One of the biggest and most beautiful temple in Kuala Lumpur. They have beautiful temples of all the main God and Goddess here. Very well managed and the puja, archana, aarti, bhajan here are really nice. You will definitely feel peace and blessed over here. This is one of the temples in Malaysia managed by north indians and even all the pujaris here can speak Hindi. Very neat and clean temple with lot of major festivals being celebrated here within the premises 🙌
