Tasty Chapathi Jalan Ipoh — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

2nd trip here and very very very happy with the food and taste!! Chai Masala, Punjabi Chai, Pani Puri, Palak Paneer, Lamb Masala, Chapati, Aloo Poratha & Plain Naan were all so so so good!!!

Both Chais are good and a pleasure to drink, Punjabi Chai has a gentle spice lingering momentum while Chai Masala is stronger from the 1st sip.

Pani Puri is a heaven sent blend of crunchy, sweet, tangy, nutty savoury bomb in your mouth, Palak Paneer a creamy-luxurious-can't stop eating goodness (I'm lactose intolerant but I've never had a problem with goat cheese here).

Lamb Masala a piquant and an addictive dish you can't help but reach out for more (I usually can't eat lamb or mutton due to gaminess), if you don't eat spicy food well you might have the tears & sniffles after eating Lamb Masala.

All the Chapati, Poratha & Naan were excellent; though my fave was Chapati & bff was Naan, we agree all 3 were so very enjoyable and delectable.

Flavour is on point and as good as last trip which is a good thing and bff enjoyed this restaurant tremendously!!

Everything was delicious and we all wished we had a 2nd tummy to silence the glutton in us.

Service impeccable and sometimes better than other similar or higher ranged price restaurant. Polished everything on our table and looking forward to future visit to try many more dishes!!

If you love Indian cousine, you must stop by and check this place out. The cheese naan, dhal makni and chicken Tikka butter masala is a must try.

Updates: 09/03/2021 Well, you have no idea how good the food from this place is, you'll know it when you drop by and see what I'm talking about. The interior deco has changed since the last MCO, and it's just so pleasing to the eyes. I've been to other north indian restaurant and ordered the same dishes... hands down without a doubt, Tasty Chapathi's food is worth every dime and penny. Here, we ordered butter chapathis and palak paneer. This itself was so tasty and just nice for our late lunch. What's great about this place is the food, the ambient with the soothing background music and the waiters are prompt and friendly, not to mention that they're always trying their best to get your order correct. I've been here a couple of times, and it was full on Mother's Day, but they really took the effort to get me and my family a table for us to dine in. I truly appreciate them for that. They accept debit/credit or cash. They are also on Grab Food, so if your location is around the KL, Sentul area, you should see them on the list and order if you can't dine in. A Truly Tasty Experience with Tasty Chapati – Baby Shower Catering

Food: The entire vegetarian menu was a hit with our guests! From the crispy samosas and veg pakoras to the rich flavors of Dal Tadka, Kadai Paneer, Aloo Gobi, and Tawa Vegetables, every dish was delicious and authentically Indian. The biryani rice was aromatic and well-balanced, paired beautifully with the variety of naans, tandoori rotis, and salad. To top it off, the Gulab Jamun, lime juice, and warm Punjabi tea added the perfect finishing touch to an already satisfying meal.

Service: The team was punctual, professional, and very efficient. They managed the setup and serving with great attention to detail, and everything was handled smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the moment with our guests.

Special Appreciation to the Manager: A heartfelt thanks to the manager Mr. Sardar Saddam who was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the process. From customising the menu to coordinating the event logistics, he made everything stress-free and was always available for any last-minute adjustments or questions.
