We are really unhappy about our stay in the ‚Poorna Hotel‘ in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed there from 24.11 to 30.11.2018.
First, the room and room service is great. That’s the reason why we gave 2 stars. All the other persons working there - good job. But one of the receptionists (her name is Dhana, if she gives us her real name, so be careful handling with her) gives us the strong feeling of getting ripped and treated unfair. First of all, we didn’t get any hello or any kind of friendly behavior. Next we give cash 100 RM for any case of broken stuff in the room - that’s not a sign of trusting each other. She was not telling us the truth about how we can get easy to the city. And drive to the tip, she found a chocolate point on our bed and charge us 45 RM for cleaning it! What kind of price policy is that? Rip the white tourists? The other thing is, that we saw some local looking people checking out with other receptionists, they didn’t get a refund or get there rooms checked. That strengthens our feeling of being treated unfair.
After all, we are not feeling satisfied with this hotel and we are not willing to do nothing about it. The customer care need to be a hotels highest interest. One person can ruin it all easily. We will never stay there again.

Read moreSeriously, why is there rule saying extra person will need to be charged? I had been here two times, the first time was a decent experience, the second was the worst one. We checked in with 4 persons, however, we were told not to stay with that amount. Only 2 persons are allowed and therefore 2 of us have to go back to our own places. We literally abide by their rules, but in the next day, we got accused for having too many person inside the room and said that we have to pay up some amount of money. We ended up wasting up our time to ask them for the surveillance footage of us leaving the premise for proving our words. They can't even bring up anything and kept lying that they didn't see us leaving the place last night. But in the end, we resolved this ridiculous matter with peace, and I decided to write up this review to report the two rude persons. One of them is the male receptionist and the other is the so-called boss of the hotel. I am done with this hotel service and I will not recommend anyone staying here if person with that kind of attitude is still serving...
Read moreWorst hotel I stay at KL..air cond suddenly stop because of electric main box trip at 2am morning very hot until my family all never sleep..I mentioned to reception counter 1 malay lady come my room, check and ask me to push up the electric button in main box..cannot working also then I open the window try to sleep but cannot sleep also because very super noisy song from outside all foreign Indian workers stay there put song in big speaker until 7 am morning..And the mattress very very hard like wood..water heater not working..parking only 3 slot if u last no parking..pls dont stay here the worst hotel at KL..I give 1 star only for the cleaning...
