TERRIBLE AND BAD SERVICE FROM THE STAFF from the Uptown Public Bank branch on 25th June 2018.
Today, I intended to open a Fixed Deposit account but due to the inefficiency, lack of knowledge and rudeness from both your bank staff and security guard, AN HOUR OF MY TIME WAS WASTED.
Reason why I am totally and utterly disappointed:
So why do you employ staff who do not want to help in the SIMPLEST of tasks? How on earth am I going to TRUST Public Bank and allow them to invest with my hard earned money when your staff do not even know the simplest and the most basic procedures of assisting a customer in opening a Fixed Deposit account?!?!?!?! Therefore, I am bringing my business to another bank where at least, the staff can provide correct information and hopefully, be less rude (fingers crossed).

Read moreIt’s Christmas Eve today. I went to the bank to do some banking there. The moment I entered the bank, a friendly officer greeted me loudly -“ Merry Christmas ! “ Then he bowed n presented me with a packet of red Angpow packets. Furthermore he added that any request I should make, he will fulfill it for me! I was so pleasantly surprised n overwhelmed by such a heartwarming greeting. Who wouldn’t be? At the same time the whole bank was full of activity with soft chatter n merriment. It’s really very Christmas here. This is the 1st time the bank celebrates Christmas in this specially unique way. It brings all their patrons, clients n customers together like a big happy family. We can at once feel the closeness n warmth exudes by the bank officers n employees. They are all so friendly n helpful to everyone who goes there. To me this is the BEST bank in Petaling Jaya. Other banks are rather formal n not so approachable. Read more13 Sept 22 . I went to this place to open a salary savings account for me. Even I've brings my company letter and recommendation letter from UNHCR . My company was also under public bank. When I went to this branch last month without UNHCR recommendation letter. They asked me to bring a recommendation letter from UNHCR that time . It's OK, I understood . Then I brings it on 13 Sept 22, then I went . But the staff is such a lazy. And ask me to go where my company registered the company. Dh ckp ken grab tu mahal. Perlu Sgt ke kne prgi di mana company tu buat tuk buka account.??. Npe lah suka tu buat org susah Last minute she ask ade bill bayer phone ke. ni tu . Last time dia 2 staff kata ATM card dh kurang . Such shitt experienced today . You staff think people don't have job ke .they go there for help . Wait hours and hours. Plz lah do help people. If you can. Don't trouble customer. Bnde blh tlg . Tlg je lah .
